    PECE Counselling 2026 - The JCECE will release the PECE counselling notification 2026 on the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The authority will commence the PECE counselling registration 2026 in July 2026. Candidates will be able to fill out the PECE counselling form 2026 by logging with their credentials. The Jharkhand PECE 2026 counselling process includes registration, payment of PECE counselling fees, document verification, web options entry, seat allotment, and reporting to the college. Applicants are advised to carefully fill in and lock in their selected colleges and courses. Only those who will clear the PECE exam will be able to get admission through the counselling process.     PECE 2026 Counselling Process

    Candidates who will have a valid score in PECE 2026 exam will be eligible for the counselling process. The authority will release the PECE merit list 2026 on the official website. Applicants whose names will be listed in the merit list will process further for PECE counselling 2026. Students can check the step-by-step guide for the PECE counselling process:

    1st Step: Registration - Candidates first need to fill out the PECE 2026 counselling application form by choosing a new registration option and providing all the necessary details. Afterwards, students need to verify the details given by them and make any edits if needed.

    2nd Step: Payment of counselling fee - Applicants are are now required to pay the counselling fee as per their categories.

    NOTE: Candidates can pay the PECE 2026 counselling fees either online or offline. For online, use debit cards, credit cards, and net banking. For offline, pay through an e-challan that can be downloaded from the website.

    3rd Step: Filling & locking of choices - Candidates are arequired to choose their preffered colleges and courses and then lock it. They must note that choices once locked can’t be changed again. So, aspirants are advised to carefully fill in their choices and then lock in. If candidates do not lock the choices, then they will be locked automatically.

    4th Step: Seat Allotment - The authority will prepare a PECE 2026 merit list based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and the choices filled by the candidates. The seats will be allotted to candidates based on the merit list and the choices filled. After the seat allotment, the candidates will have three options to follow.

    Seat Acceptance:

    • If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, then they will have to accept a seat by paying a non-refundable amount of Rs.1000 as an admission fee through online mode.

    • After the completion of payment, an allotment letter will appear on the screen which must be downloaded and printed. They must carry the seat allotment letter to the allotted college/institute along with other necessary documents.

    Seat Rejection: If a candidate is unsatisfied with the allotted seat, they can reject a seat.

    Choices Upgradation: Applicants can also upgrade their choices by paying a non-refundable amount of INR 1000. They will have to wait for the seat re-allotment after the release of the vacant list of the 1st round of PECE 2026 counselling.

    Documents needed during PECE counselling 2026?

    Applicants need to prepare some documents for the completing the PECE counselling process. Students are required to carry photocopies of these documents. Below are the list of documents :

    • Marksheet & certificates of the qualifying exam
    • Admit card/hall ticket for Qualifying exam

    • Income certificate

    • Category certificate (if applicable)

    • PwD certificate (if applicable)

    The application form for PECE isn't released yet by conducting body Jharkhand Combined Entrance Compeititive Examination for admission to diploma in engineering courses,also due to the pandemic there can be an expected delay, the eligibility criteria for PECE is passed class 10th from a recognized board with 35% marks
