Hello aspirant,
A typical skeleton structure of an infant has 300 bones. These bones undergo a slow and consistent process called Ossification, in which the bones fuse together while the baby grows up. When the baby grows up into a healthy adult, there will only be 206 bones in his/her body.
Hope it helps. All the best.
