Uttarakhand Board Of Technical Education (UBTE) will conduct Uttarakhand Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnics 2020 on May 10 and 11 in pen-and-paper based mode. The application form for the exam has been released in online mode on January 15, 2020. OMR-based applications will also be available from January 20 , with last date of submission being April 4, 2020. The entrance exam, also known as Uttarakhand JEEP 2020 will be conducted for admission to engineering and non-engineering diploma courses offered by polytechnics institutes in the state. The exam for engineering and technology will be of 2 hours duration and include multiple choice questions. Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Among important eligibility criteria for sitting in the exam include a pass in Class 10 with minimum 35% aggregate marks, and pass marks in compulsory subjects. Admit card for eligible candidates will be issued around the the second week of April.
Admission authorities will declare the result of the exam tentatively in the last week of May, in the form of rank cards. Merit lists will also be published for short-listing candidates for centralized counselling that will be conducted online. If there are vacant seats left after online counselling rounds, institute-wise counselling will be held to fill vacant them.

Allotment of Exam Centre
If the number of candidates in the centre chosen by the candidates as the first choice is fewer than 100, the centre might be cancelled. In that case the candidate will be allotted the nearest available exam centre.

Uttarakhand Board Of Technical Education (UBTE) will release the admit card of Uttarakhand Polytechnic 2020 on April 25. Admit card will be available in online mode only, and will not be sent by post or any other means to the candidate. It will carry important details like name, roll number, date and time of exam, and exam centre details. The candidate must keep the admit card safe until at least the admission process is over.

The result of Uttarakhand JEEP will be announced in online mode tentatively in the third week of May. The result will be released in the form of rank cards, and includes the rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam.
