Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will conduct Jharkhand PECE 2020 as an offline exam of the duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes which will consist of multiple choice questions. Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2020 will be conducted for admissions into Diploma courses in various government & private polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand. It must be noted that it is mandatory to fulfil the requirements of the eligibility criteria before applying.

Scanned images of the candidate's photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression has to be uploaded in the prescribed format.
Step 3- Application Fee Payment:
The prescribed amount of application fee has to be paid online through debit card, credit card or net banking. Candidates will have to take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.

1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response

The result of Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2020 will be declared by the authorities in online mode. Candidates will b able to login and check their result. A combined rank list and the category wise rank list will be released separately by the authorities. The rank list will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in PECE 2020. Candidates will be called in for counselling on the basis of the PECE result 2020. The scanned OMR of the candidates will be uploaded on the website considering the transparency in the result of PECE 2020.
Mode of Counselling:
Candidates qualifying the entrance exam will be allowed to participate in the online counselling process of Jharkhand Polytechnic. A required amount of non-refundable fee will have to be paid by the candidates to participate in the counselling process. Candidates will have to get the required documents verified at the time of PECE counselling 2020.
Counselling Fee: Rs 400 for male candidates of General and OBC category; Rs 250 for the candidates belonging to SC and ST category and female candidates. The counselling fee can be paid through Debit card, credit card, net banking or challan.
Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seat on the basis of their rank. Candidates are required to register for the online counselling process. After the declaration of allotment results, candidates will have to accept, reject or upgrade choices for the allotment. To confirm the seat, an additional amount of Rs 1000 will have to be submitted otherwise seat will not be allotted. This fee has to be paid in online mode.
Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam are eligible to participate in the counselling.They need to register by paying a non-refundable fee and fill choices of colleges and branch as per their preference and lock the choices.A seat is allotted based on merit in the entrance exam and preferences.Candidates can accept the seat if they are satisfied with the seat and report to the alloted college within the give time, if they are not satisfied they can reject the seat or upgrade.
