WBJEE Counselling 2019 - West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will conduct WBJEE 2019 for the qualified candidates of both JEE Main and WBJEE exams. To participate in the counselling of WBJEE 2019, candidates will have to first go through the registration process. After registration, candidates will be required to fill their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. On the basis of choices filled and entrance exam merit, seats will be allotted to candidates in round 1. For those who will get seats, they will have to make the online payment of provisional admission fee and visit the institute allotted for physical reporting for document verification. Those who will not get seats in round 1 of WBJEE, may be allotted seats in round 2. However, those who have got seats in round 1 can opt for up gradation in round 2, if not satisfied with the allotted seat. Similarly, round 3 will also be conducted. WBJEE 2019 Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure of WBJEE 2019 has been compiled below for candidates' reference.

Step 1 - Online Registration

Candidates will have to register by following the steps given below:

  • Click on the link (will be updated here as and when released)

  • Select ‘New Registration’ option. Candidates will have to opt for registration either through WBJEE, JEE Main or both.

  • For those who have opted for WBJEE 2019, will have to enter their WBJEE application number, roll number, name and date of birth.

  • For those who have opted for JEE Main 2019, will have to enter their JEE Main application number, roll number, name and date of birth.

  • In case, a candidate opts for both the channels, then he or she will have to enter the details of both the exams

  • After filling all the details, click on ‘submit’ button

Note: Once the registration will be done, candidates will not be able to make any changes in details like category, PwD status, TFW status, state of domicile, gender, religion etc. It is also important to know that  WBJEE counselling 2019 registration will only be allowed once that is during the beginning of round 1.

Step 2 - WBJEE 2019 Counselling Fee Payment

Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of WBJEE 2019. The payment can be made either through debit/ credit card or net banking. The fees to be paid will be non-refundable.

WBJEE 2019 Application Fees

Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as fees.

Step 3 - Choice Filling and Locking

In this step, candidates will have to select courses and colleges according to their preferences and fill them in the form. Candidates will also have to lock the filled choices for future. After choices are locked, they will not be changed. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the choices selected after confirming them.

Step 4 - Seat Allotment

The allotment of seats into the participating institutions will be done on the basis of candidates' merit, choices filled by them and availability of seats. To check the seat allotment, candidates will have to login using their credentials. The authorities will not sent individual allotment letters to candidates. 

Step 5 – Verification of Documents

Candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the fees required at the reporting centres. The list of reporting centres will be released by the board.

Documents to be carried to the reporting centres

  • Admit card of WBJEE 2019

  • WBJEE Result 2019

  •  WBJEE 2019 Seat Allotment Letter

  • Class XII (or equivalent) standard examination mark sheet

  • Class X mark sheet

  • Class X certificate or admit card

  • Receipt of Online Counselling Registration Fee (E-Challan)

  • Category Certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

  • Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

  • JEE Main 2019 for candidates who have applied for the 10% quota

  • Yes Upgradation or No Upgradation certificate

Step 6 - Reporting to Institute

After document verification, candidates will get a provisional seat allotment letter as issued by the board. Following which, they will have to report to the institute if they satisfied with the seat allotted within the given time period. Candidates will be required to carry both original and photocopies of the documents to the institute.
