APSCTE is an autonomous body under the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh has conducted the Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (APJEE) for admission of candidates to various technical and professional courses in the Polytechnics of State. Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE) will release the application form of APJEE 2020 tentatively in the first week of April. The admit card of APJEE 2020 will be available in an online mode starting tentatively from the third week of May. The examination authority will conduct APJEE 2020 tentatively in the final week of May. The counselling of APJEE 2020 for the seat allotment will be held in offline mode. Candidates will have to appear in person to attend the counselling process at the Auditorium Hall of Dera Natung Govt. College, Itanagar. Candidates will have to get their documents verified to get the seat confirmed. Without the document verification process, candidates will not be allotted the seat in the participating institutes of APJEE 2020. The selected candidates had to report at their respective allotted Institutions to confirm their seats.

Candidates who wish to take admission must check the eligibility criteria of APJEE 2020 before applying for the examination. Applications of those candidates would be accepted who meet the APJEE 2020 eligibility criteria. Rest applications would be subjected to rejection by the admission authority. Candidates must fulfil eligibility criteria based on which candidates will be placed in two categories for which they must fulfil the following criteria:

Candidates who wish to apply for the examination will be able to fill the application form of APJEE 2020 tentatively from the first week of April in an online mode. Candidates will be able to fill up the form tentatively till the third week of May. APJEE 2020 application form will comprise of the details where candidates will have to enter their personal, academic details and address of communication. All the information entered by the candidates must be valid. Applications with invalid/incorrect information will be rejected. Candidates are requested to go through the below-mentioned steps while filling the application form of APJEE 2020.
STEP 1- Open Admission Portal: Candidates wishing to apply must visit the registration link to apply for the examination.
STEP 2- Enter Details: Candidates must enter all the required details in the application form of APJEE 2020. The prerequisite such as personal details, academic details and address of communication must be entered by the candidate. While filling the application form, it is advised that every detail must be entered with care. All correct and valid information must be entered.
STEP 3- Upload Documents: After all details in the application form has been entered, candidates are then asked to upload scanned images of their required documents. Candidates must upload a scanned copy of photograph and signature in the JPEG format and not exceeding a size of 25kb.
STEP 4- Review your Application Form: After uploading the documents, candidates are advised to review their application before finally submitting the application form. Candidates must make possible changes wherever required (if necessary) since after submission no more changes will be allowed in the application form.
STEP 5- Payment of Application Fees: After completely reviewing the application form, candidates will be redirected to the payment page. The payment of application fee can be done in an online mode only either through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card. After the payment is complete, save the receipt of application fee for future reference.
STEP 6- Final Submission: Submit the application form now by clicking on the "Final Submit" button. After the submission, a registration number will be generated which will be used for all future references and for the login to the admission portal. Also, a confirmation page will also be displayed which the candidate must download and take a print out of to be on a safer side.
Candidates who wish to apply for the examination must check the exam pattern of APJEE 2020 so that they are aware of how the question paper will be framed, types of questions in the paper, marks allotted to each questions, total marks, marking scheme, negative marking and others. With the help of APJEE 2020 exam pattern, candidates will have an edge towards attempting the question paper in a well manner.

The admission authority will release the admit card of APJEE 2020 in an online mode tentatively in the third week of May. APJEE 2020 admit card will be issued to the eligible candidates who have successfully filled the application form with all the valid and correct details. Admit card of APJEE 2020 can be downloaded by login to the admission portal by using user id (mobile number). Details such as name of the candidate, gender, date of birth, entrance examination date and venue, address of examination centre and general instructions. Candidate must preserve the APJEE 2020 admit card until all the admission process are complete.
The result of APJEE 2020 will be declared by the admission authority tentatively in the final week of May. Candidates will be able to access APJEE 2020 result in an online mode in the form of PDF. The result of APJEE declared category wise in the form of merit list for all candidates who appeared in the entrance examination. Two or more candidates secured the same marks allotted the same rank in APJEE examination. However, the inter-se merit will be determined on the basis of percentage secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Successfully qualified candidates will be invited to attend the counselling of APJEE 2020 on the scheduled date and venue.
Mode of Counselling:
Candidates who have qualified in the APJEE examination will be invited to attend the first round counselling of APJEE 2020. The shortlisted candidate will have to arrive at the Auditorium Hall of Dera Natung Govt. College, Itanagar at the scheduled time in person to take part in the APJEE 2020 counselling process for the seat allotment. The counselling process comprised of choice filling and document verification process. Candidates are advised to bring along all the original as well as one set of copies of required documents and get them verified to book their seat. On the basis of merit list of APJEE 2020, candidates are allotted the seats in the preferred course and institute. Allotment of the seat to the preferred course and institute will be a subject to availability of seats in the institute. If a candidate who has been allotted seat does not join, they will not be eligible to appear in the subsequent APJEEs. Candidate must immediately surrender the seat if he/she is not willing to undergo that particular course.
