About APJEE 2020
APSCTE is an autonomous body under the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The authorities have announced APJEE 2020 result for the Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (APJEE) conducted on October 16, 2020. The counselling of APJEE 2020 for the seat allotment has started on October 22. Last date to register for round 1 counseling is October 30. APJEE 2020 admit card was released on October 10 on the official website. The entrance exam is conducted for admission of candidates to various technical and professional courses in the Polytechnics of State. Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE) had released the APJEE 2020 online application form on March 5. Earlier, the offline application form of APJEE 2020 was released on February 4. The last date to submit the application form in both online and offline mode was extended and is now over.

APJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to take admission must check the eligibility criteria of APJEE 2020 before applying for the examination. Applications of those candidates would be accepted who meet the APJEE 2020 eligibility criteria. Rest applications would be subjected to rejection by the admission authority. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:
- Children of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST), Children of Non-APST employees of the State Government, Central Government & the Public Sector Undertakings serving in Arunachal Pradesh and all others residing in Arunachal Pradesh for the past 3 years or more and who have passed their Class 10th from any Schools within Arunachal Pradesh will be eligible to appear for APJEE.
- Candidates must have passed or appeared in Class 10th or equivalent from a Government recognized Board to be eligible for appearing in APJEE 2020
- Candidates must be 15 to 18 years of age as on the date of admission. Relaxation of 3 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category. Age limits will be governed by the norms of AICTE.
Reservation Criteria of APJEE 2020
Candidates must fulfil eligibility criteria based on which candidates will be placed in two categories for which they must fulfil the following criteria:

Candidates who wished to apply for the examination could fill the application form of APJEE 2020 in online mode. The authorities released the online application form on March 5, 2020. However, the offline application form was released on February 4. Candidates were able to fill up the form in both online and offline mode. APJEE 2020 application form requires candidates to fill in their personal, academic details and address of communication. All the information entered by the candidates have to be valid. Applications with invalid/incorrect information are rejected. Candidates are requested to go through the below-mentioned steps while filling the application form of APJEE 2020.
Steps to fill Offline APJEE 2020 Application Form
The candidates were able to access the offline application form of APJEE 2020 from the various Govt. Polytechnics at Laying, Dirang, Namsai, Roing, Pasighat and the Council's office at Itanagar. The application form was to be filled with the required information and the photograph had to be affixed to the given space. Submission of the application form had to be done before the final date.
Procedure to fill Online APJEE Application Form 2020
STEP 1- Open Admission Portal: Candidates wishing to apply had to visit the official website and click on "Online application" link.
STEP 2- Enter Details: Candidates had to enter all the required details in the application form of APJEE 2020. The prerequisite such as personal details, academic details and address of communication must be entered by the candidate. While filling the application form, it was advised that every detail must be entered with care. All correct and valid information had to be entered.
STEP 3- Upload Documents: After all details in the application form has been entered, candidates were then asked to upload scanned images of their required documents. Candidates had to upload a scanned copy of photograph and signature in the JPEG format and not exceeding a size of 25kb.
STEP 4- Review your Application Form: After uploading the documents, candidates were advised to review their application before finally submitting the application form. Candidates had to make possible changes wherever required (if necessary) since after submission no more changes were allowed in the application form.
STEP 5- Payment of Application Fees: After completely reviewing the application form, candidates were redirected to the payment page. The payment of application fee could be done in an online mode only either through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card. After the payment was complete, save the receipt of application fee for future reference.
STEP 6- Final Submission: Submit the application form now by clicking on the "Final Submit" button. After the submission, a registration number was generated which is used for all future references and for the login to the admission portal. Also, a confirmation page was also displayed which the candidate had to download and take a print out of to be on a safer side.

Candidates who wish to apply for the examination must check the exam pattern of APJEE 2020 so that they are aware of how the question paper will be framed, types of questions in the paper, marks allotted to each questions, total marks, marking scheme, negative marking and others. The admission authority has released the admit card of APJEE 2020 in an online mode on October 10. APJEE 2020 admit card have been issued to the eligible candidates who have successfully filled the application form with all the valid and correct details. Admit card of APJEE 2020 can be downloaded by login to the admission portal by using application number and password/ date of birth. Details such as name of the candidate, gender, date of birth, entrance examination date and venue, address of examination centre and general instructions. Candidate must preserve the APJEE 2020 admit card until all the admission process are complete.

The result of APJEE 2020 has been declared on October 17 by the admission authority. Candidates are able to access APJEE 2020 result in an online mode in the form of PDF. The result of APJEE is declared category wise in the form of merit list for all candidates who appeared in the entrance examination. Two or more candidates secured the same marks allotted the same rank in APJEE examination. However, the inter-se merit will be determined on the basis of percentage secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination. Successfully qualified candidates will be invited to attend the counselling of APJEE 2020 which will be held online.

The authorities has started the APJEE 2020 counselling from October 22. Candidates who qualify in the APJEE examination have to participate in the counselling process which will be held in online mode. The counselling process comprises of choice filling and document verification process. On the basis of merit list of APJEE 2020, candidates are allotted the seats in the preferred course and institute. Allotment of the seat to the preferred course and institute will be a subject to availability of seats in the institute. If a candidate who has been allotted seat does not join, they will not be eligible to appear in the subsequent APJEEs. Candidate must immediately surrender the seat if he/she is not willing to undergo that particular course.
