CG PPT Counselling 2026
The authority will start the CG PPT counselling portal. The counselling will be based on the marks scored in the CG PPT. Below are the steps involved in CG Polytechnic counselling.
Step-by-Step Procedure of CG PPT 2026 Counselling
The following steps can be referred to to understand the process of CG PPT counselling.
- CG PPT Registration - To participate in the counselling of CG PPT 2026, candidates have to register themselves online by entering certain details such as date of birth, domicile, CG PPT roll number, and password at the CG PPT official website. A new registration number was displayed after submitting the details entered. Candidates should keep the registration number safe.
After receiving the registration number, candidates have to log in to the account using the registration number and password and enter the remaining details, such as mother tongue, region, family income, and Aadhaar number, etc. Details entered at the time of filling out the application form of CG PPT 2026 will be auto-filled in the new form.
Candidates have to make a payment of the CG PPT Counselling 2026 fee, which can be done online, i.e., using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.
- Choice filling - After registration and payment of the CG PPT counselling fee 2026, candidates have to enter their preference of colleges and branches they would like to get admission. Candidates had to select their choices and lock them.
- Document verification— In the next step of CG PPT Counselling, candidates have to visit the Document Verification Centres (DVCs) to get their documents verified. Candidates were advised to carry all the relevant documents to the verification centres as failing which will result in the rejection of candidature. Also, upon successful document verification, candidates will be issued an acknowledgement receipt.

CG PPT Seat Allotment - The seat allotment of CG PPT is conducted online after each round of Counselling 2026. In this step, the authorities allot seats to candidates on the basis of the CG PPT result 2026 and choices locked by them. Candidates are allotted seats based on rank secured in CG Polytechnic.
Tie-breaking Rule of CG PPT 2026
If two or more candidates score the same marks, then in that case, inter se merit will be prepared to determine the rank of candidates.
Candidates with higher marks in mathematics will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates older in age will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher percentages in the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank.
CG PPT seat allotment result 2026 will be announced online and the authorities will also notify the candidates by sending a notification to the registered mobile number of the candidate via SMS. Allotted candidates will be able to download provisional CG PPT seat allotment letters by logging into their accounts using their registration number and password.
- Reporting to allotted institutes - Candidates allotted seats will be required to report at the allotted institute according to the scheduled date and time. In case candidates fail to reach on time then it will result in the forfeiture of the seat.

Hi, since you have not attended the third round of counselling there is no way you can re-enter. There are two options that you can take. One is management seats. PPT does offer management seats. Application forms are mostly available online if not try contacting the university itself they will guide you. Second will be, there are direct admissions available too. The registration for counselling for CG PPT has begun on 10 September 2020 only. The registration has ended on 15 September 2020. You may get a seat in direct admission for the remaining seats.
