CG PPT Counselling 2020 - Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur will commence the procedure of CG PPT 2020 counselling for qualified candidates. The authorities will conduct three rounds of CG PPT counselling and after each round, seats will be allotted to candidates based on their ranks and preferences. The examination authorities will commence the counselling and seat allotment process of CG PPT 2020 for all the qualified candidates. There will be three rounds of counselling and after each round, candidates will be allotted seats in the participating institutes on the basis of marks scored in the CG PPT 2020 and the choice of preference filled by the candidates in the application form.
Step 1 - Registration - In order to participate in the counselling of CG PPT 2020, candidates will have to first register themselves online by entering certain details such as date of birth, domicile, CG PPT 2020 roll number, and password. A new registration number will be displayed after submitting the details entered. Candidates should keep the registration number safely.
After receiving the registration number, candidates will have to log in to the account using the registration number and password and enter the remaining details such as mother tongue, region, family income, and Aadhaar number, etc.. Details entered at the time of filling the application form of CG PPT 2020 will be auto-filled in the new form.
Candidates will also have to make a payment of the CG PPT Counselling 2020 fee which can be done only through online mode i.e using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.
Step 2 - Choice filling - After registration and payment of counselling fee, candidates will get a chance to enter their preference of college and branch they would like to get admission in. Candidates will have to select their choices and lock them.
Step 3 - Document verification - In the next step of CG PPT Counselling 2020, candidates will have to visit the Document Verification Centres (DVCs) to get their documents verified. Candidates are advised to carry all the relevant documents to the verification centres as failing which will result in the rejection of candidature. Also, upon successful document verification, candidates will be issued an acknowledgement receipt.

Step 4 - Allotment of seats - The allotment of seats will be conducted online after each round of CG PPT Counselling 2020. In this step, the authorities will allot seats to candidates on the basis of CG PPT Result 2020 and choices locked by them. If two or more candidates score the same marks then in that case, inter se merit will be considered for allotment of seat.
Tie-breaking Rule of CG PPT 2020
Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates older in age will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher percentage in the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank.
The authorities will notify the candidates regarding the allotment of seats by sending a notification to the registered mobile number of the candidate via SMS. Allotted candidates will be able to download provisional allotment letter by logging to their account using registration number and password.
Step 5 - Reporting to allotted institutes - All the allotted candidates will have to report at the allotted institute according to the scheduled date and time. In case candidates fail to reach on time then it will result in the forfeiture of seat.
