Delhi CET Counselling 2020 - DTE, Government of NCT of Delhi will commence the Delhi CET 2020 counselling procedure for admission to diploma courses tentatively in the last week of June. The authorities will conduct four rounds of the counselling of Delhi CET 2020, and if seats left vacant, there will be an additional round. In order to participate in the Delhi CET Counselling 2020, candidates will have to qualify the exam and will also have to meet the eligibility criteria. Choice filling has to be done during counselling of Delhi CET 2020. Tentatively in the last week of June, the authorities will declare the Delhi CET 2020 counselling allotment result. General Instructions related to Delhi CET 2020 Counselling

  • Delhi CET Counselling 2020 will be conducted in web-based mode only.

  • Primarily, there will be four rounds of counselling and seat allotment of Delhi CET 2020 but the authorities might conduct an additional spot round if seats are left vacant.

  • Candidates are advised to key an eye on the official website as any change or update in schedule will be updated on the official website.

  • The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates and the choices filled in Delhi CET 2020 application form.

  • It will be the sole responsibility of a candidate to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the admission authorities.

Delhi CET 2020 Counselling

The admission authorities will notify the detailed rules and procedure at the time of the Delhi CET counselling 2020. In order to participate in the counselling of Delhi CET 2020, candidates will have to submit the online application form. The detailed procedure of Delhi CET 2020 counselling is given below.

Procedure of Delhi CET counselling 2020

  • Payment of processing fee - Candidates will have to first pay the processing fees of Rs. 700 + Rs. 15 (bank charges). This amount will be non-refundable and has to be paid through online mode which will include but not limited to credit card, debit card, and net banking. Upon successful payment, candidates will have to take a print out of the confirmation fee receipt page for future use.

  • Registration - After payment of the processing fee, candidates will have to next do the registration and the Aadhaar card number or any other valid ID government proof will be required at the time of registration. Along with the valid government ID proof, candidates will have to keep their 10th/12th/ITI mark sheet, certificate and other relevant documents/category/Sub Category certificate(as applicable) with them. To complete the registration, candidates will have to enter details related to test no., CET roll no., CET application no., and date of birth.

Upon successful registration, candidates will be directed to a new page “Registration form” and they will have to enter all the mandatory details to generate a password and some of the mandatory details include:

  • Name of Father

  • Gender

  • Category

  • Sub-category

  • Contact Address

  • Mobile Number

  • E-mail Address

  • Details of Qualification

  • Aadhaar Card Number/Pan No.

Candidates should ensure that they enter all the correct details as any incorrect detail will result in disqualification from the Delhi CET counselling 2020. After rechecking all the entered details, candidates will have to confirm registration details to move forward towards the next step. At the end of the process, online registration receipt will be displayed on the screen stating the status of registration and eligibility of the counselling of Delhi CET 2020. Take a print out of the receipt.

  • Filling of choices - All the candidates who will be eligible for counselling will be allowed to enter their preferred choices of courses and institutes by logging in using the Delhi CET 2020 roll number and password. Candidates should enter as many choices as possible as this will increase their chances of admission. Finally, later they will have to submit their choices.

  • Release of provisional seat allotment - The authorities will release the Delhi CET 2020 provisional seat allotment result tentatively in the last week of June. Candidates will be able to access the seat allotment result by logging in using the roll number and password. In case, candidates are allotted the seats according to their preference then they will have to take a print out of it. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and the choices filled in the application form.

  • Part-payment of institutional fee - Candidates who are allotted a seat and are satisfied with it will have to make a part payment of institutional fees as mentioned in the provisional allotment letter on the specified date. Candidates will have to pay the remaining fee strictly on the date specified by the authorities.

  • Verification of Documents - Next, the candidates will have to get their documents verified in order to complete their enrolment formalities. Candidates should ensure that they carry all the relevant documents, After verification, the allotted institute will issue a ‘Document Verification Report’ to the candidate.

  • Payment of remaining institutional fee - Candidates will not have to pay the remaining institutional fee to download the final allotment letter. Failing to deposit the amount will result in the forfeiture of the seat.

Freezing of seats - After every round of counselling, candidates will be given two choices - to freeze allotted seat or to let it go. If candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat then they will have to click on the “Freeze” option available on their accounts. If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat, they will have to participate in the next round of Delhi CET counselling 2020 and will be offered next higher preference seat subject to availability of seats.

Spot round - If any seats are still left vacant after four rounds of Delhi CET 2020 counselling & seat allotment then the authorities will conduct an additional round known as spot round. At the time of admission during spot round, candidates will have to bring a Demand Draft of Rs 6000/- in favour of DKDF, Delhi along with other documents.
