About TS POLYCET 2020
Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) is conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad, for admission to engineering diploma courses, among others, offered by polytechnic institutes in the state of Telangana. The authorities have released the seat allotment of TS Polycet 2020 counselling special round. The authorities started the special round TS Polycet 2020 counselling on October 8. The authorities have started the TS POLYCET 2020 counselling process from September 12. Earlier, the authorities released the TS Polycet answer key and also allowed the candidates to raise objections till September 4 (8 PM). TS Polycet 2020 was held on September 2 as a pen-and-paper based test.The authorities had allowed the candidates to submit TS Polycet 2020 application form with a late fee of Rs 300 till July 30. Earlier, the candidates were able to submit their application forms from July 13 to 25 with a late fee of Rs 200. Before this, application form of TS POLYCET was available online from March 2 to June 9 (without late fee). However, candidates were able to submit their applications with a late fee of Rs 100 till June 12. The exam will have one paper consisting of three sections – physics, chemistry and mathematics. The result of TS POLYCET 2020 has been released by SBTET, Telangana in online mode and will include marks obtained in the entrance exam and rank cards.

TS POLYCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of TS POLYCET 2020 are the aggregate of conditions that the candidate has to meet in order to be considered for admission. Any candidate who doesn’t meet any of these conditions, he or she may be disqualified at any stage of the admission process. The full details of the prescribed eligibility criteria have been described below:
Nationality – The candidate needs to be an Indian national
Domicile – The candidate must be resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh
Qualifying Exam – Candidate who have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana with a minimum aggregate of 35% marks, and have studied Mathematics as one of the subject are eligible.
In case of candidates who have passed any other equivalent exam, they will in addition need to have passed all the subjects – including physics, chemistry and mathematics, with minimum 35% marks in each subject.
Age limit – No age limit has been set for appearing in the exam.

The exam authorities had allowed the candidates to submit TS Polycet 2020 application form with a late fee of Rs 300 till July 30. Before this, the authorities provided a second chance to submit TS Polycet application form with a late fee of Rs 200 from July 13 to 25. Procedure to fill TS POLYCET 2020 application form
- Enter Class 10 passing year, hall ticket number, and date of birth
- Fill in the name -should be the same as mentioned in school certificates. When entering the name, make sure to leave gaps between parts of the name.
- Enter name of father.
- Fill in correspondence details
- Select the exam centre from available options
- Choose the category, if applicable.
- If the candidate belongs to any special category (CAP/SP/PH/NCC), it must also be mentioned.
- Select medium of exam
- Paste a photograph duly signed by parent (or a guardian) at the appropriate place.
- If filled in offline mode offline, visit a nearby help line centre and submit the completed application form to the computer operator. The application fee of Rs. 350 (Rs. 200 for SC and ST candidates) can be paid in either online or offline.
- The operator will enter details mentioned on the application and upload all relevant documents to an online system. After the process is over, admit cards will be issued and handed over to the candidate. Admit cards can also be downloaded online.

TS POLYCET Exam Pattern 2020
- The test time will have one paper of 2 hours duration
- Exam mode will be offline based, with candidates having to enter their responses on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheets.
- The syllabus of the exam will be based on SSC Examination
- Question type will be multiple choice type. Each question will be followed by four answer options, out of which only one will be the correct option.
- There will be a total of 120 questions.
- For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking.

TS POLYCET 2020 hall tickets were available in both online and offline mode. Candidates were able to also collect in from the computer operator at the helpline centre. The operator generated the admit card after completing the uploading process. To download the admit card online, candidate had to go to the specific online portal and log-in. An important document, the admit card will carry details like name of the candidate, roll number, date and time of the exam, and also exam centre details. Care must take to preserve it until at least the admission process is over.

The result of TS POLYCET 2020 has been released by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana on the official website. For general category candidates, the result is declared for only those candidates who score a minimum 30% marks, or 36 marks out of 120. However there are no minimum criteria for SC and ST applicants, and their ranks will be published irrespective of their scores in the exam.
The result carry details like the marks and ranks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. The rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. In case two or more candidates score the same marks, inter-se merit was determined.
Rules and order for determining Inter-se merit:
1. Candidates with higher marks in mathematics will be ranked higher
2. In this step, the one who has more marks in Physics will be placed higher
3. If tie persists, DOB will be considered with the older candidate given preference.
4. Finally, the tie will be decided based on qualifying exam marks, with the candidates having higher percentage to be ranked higher.

TS POLYCET 2020 Cutoff
Exam officials will release the TS POLYCET 2020 cutoff for each phase of seat allotment for all the participating institutes. The cutoffs thus released would be branch, category and gender-specific. Candidates applying for admission would be likely considered for admission in that round only if they meet the specific cutoff criteria. Please note the cutoff is determined based on parameters like number of seats available, applications received for admission, category of the candidate, reputation of the institute, etc. If any of these variables change in any given year, the cutoff would also change. Nonetheless, the candidate would get a general idea about the kind of scores to get admission into their chosen discipline.

The authorities have released the TS Polycet 2020 seat allotment result for the special round counselling. The special round of TS Polycet counselling was started on October 8. Exercising of options were available from October 9 to 10. The TS POLYCET 2020 counselling process on September 12. Candidates have to register for the counselling in online mode and report for document verification and option entry at the TS POLYCET help centres. To get their documents verified, candidates will have to attend the verification centre in person with originals of all relevant documents.
The allotment of seats will be based on both the merit rank of the candidate and also choices opted for admission. Please note that seat allotment for reserved category candidates would be carried out separately as per respective rank lists.

I am sorry but right now there hasn't been any information regarding release of new merit lists. However, if seats remain empty and students fail to take admission, new lists would be released.

TS Polycet 2020 is conducted out of 120 marks and the minimum marks required to qualify the exam is 36/120 and it varies according to the categories. The cut off rank also varies according to the candidates category. Since you haven't specified your category I am assuming you are from general category .
