Hello,

Holding an E1 group rank of 12,218 in JEECUP makes it very improbable to obtain a seat in a government or aided college in Round 2, as these are usually filled much sooner by significantly higher ranks (often below 3,000 for the best branches and institutions). Nonetheless, you can still engage in Round 2 and seek seats in private polytechnic colleges that are open to lower ranks.

These colleges frequently have open positions in less sought-after fields such as Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Institutions such as Government Polytechnic Ghosi Mau, JP Institute of Technology & Management, and Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology are some private colleges that might accept lower rankings.

I suggest accessing the JEECUP counselling portal, reviewing the Round 2 seat matrix, and examining the list of private/private-aided colleges along with their opening and anticipated closing ranks.

Choose your options thoughtfully, concentrating on branches and colleges where your rank is within or near the anticipated closing range. This approach provides you with the highest opportunity to obtain a privately funded or government-supported seat in Round 2.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Yes, you can get direct admission, but you can't take admission in a government college. You have to choose private college for direct admission

Hello Aspirant,

With an All India Rank of 258 in JEECUP, you have an excellent chance of securing admission to the Aeronautical Training Institute in Uttar Pradesh—especially in Lucknow—as this rank falls well within historical closing ranks for Aeronautical Engineering/Diploma in ATIs.You can check the cutoff using this link- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jeecup-cutoff

It has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. You can check everything using this link- https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in/ .

All the best for your admission process.

Hello,

Government Polytechnic Lucknow and Hewett Polytechnic are typically favored for their low costs, strong facilities, and satisfactory job placements. For those with a higher rank or in need of a private setup, MCSGOC and J.P. Group serve as suitable options. Private colleges provide specialized courses such as CSE or IT, featuring advanced facilities but at elevated costs.

Hope this helps. All the best!
