    Age Limit

    • The maximum age limit for Unreserved/EWS candidates is 25 years as on 01.10.2026.

    • Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

    • The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for PwBD candidates. In respect of PwBD

    Academic Qualification

    • Candidates must have passed in Bachelor’s Degree with First Class in B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering Graduate from AICTE approved Colleges in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication / Mechanical disciplines.

    • SC/ST/PwBD candidates with Pass class (in above mentioned degree / disciplines) are eligible to apply.

    • Candidates with first class in AMIE / AMIETE / GIETE are also eligible but they must have cleared the exam in the above given streams only. 

    For reservation benefits (EWS/ SC/ST/ OBC-NCL, PwD)

    Candidates need to provide the necessary certificate as per the conditions stated in the official notification. 

    For Ex servicemen

    Relaxation of 5 years will be extended as per Govt. guidelines in respect of ExServicemen.

Before filling the application form, all applicants are advised to keep the documents required for the application process ready. GEN/EWS/OBC (NCL) category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1180. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates.

    How to fill the Application Form of BEL 2026 Recruitment?

    Aspirants are required to follow the given steps to fill the application form of BEL recruitment .

    Step 1: Registration

    • Candidates have to go to the official website. Click on the recruitment application tab and fill in the details. 

    • They must keep the details like email id and mobile number ready. 

    • Follow with providing important information like name, contact details etc. 

    • After this, click on “Submit” Button.

    • After this, an User ID and password will be generated.

    • Candidates need to re-login and provide Personal Details, Additional Details, Communication Details, Qualification Details, Declaration, upload relevant Documents including photo and signature and to submit Application Fee (wherever applicable) online via SBI e-Pay Lite Payment Gateway.

    Step 2: Upload Scanned images and documents- After filling all the details, candidates will have to upload the documents with specifications mentioned in the table above and save the form.

    Step 3: Payment of application fee- The last step is fee payment. It is only possible through the SBI e-pay Lite payment gateway. The amount to be paid is Rs 1180 (for GEN/OBC/EWS). It is free of charge for others. 

    After successful payment, candidates need to submit the form and download the filled-out application form. 

    BEL PE Recruitment 2026 - Syllabus

    The computer-based test will be based on the MCQs asked from core engineering subjects. These subjects will be those studied in the Bachelor programs (including the specialisations). A common section will be General Aptitude- It will be used to assess analytical and reasoning abilities of candidates.

    BEL PE Recruitment 2026 - Exam Pattern

    The CBT for BEL recruitment 2026 will consist of MCQs. The exam will be held for a duration of 2 hours. There will be a total of 125 questions.

    Selection Criteria for the BEL Recruitment 2026

    Candidates need to appear in the CBT for the BEL recruitment. The authority will conduct the computer-based test. After which, a personal interview will be conducted. The final merit list of BEL recruitment 2026 will be prepared on the basis of the scores in the recruitment exam. The authority will release the result and announce the names of the shortlisted candidates on the official website. They will have to take part in the interview round. Note that the weightage for CBT is 85 marks and interview is 15 marksHere is the selection criteria to be considered for recruitment. 

    • General/OBC/EWS candidates- Should get 35% qualifying marks in both computer based test and interview. 

    • SC/ST/PwBD candidates - Should get 30% qualifying marks in both computer based test and interview.
