Steps to Apply for Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2022
It is important to note that the candidates had to register for the GATE 2022 exam before filling the online application form for the PGCIL recruitment through GATE. Step 1 – Registration and Filling of PGCIL Application Form
The candidates have to register by filling in their personal and academic details along with the GATE 2022 registration number.
All information provided should match the details submitted in the GATE 2022 application form.
Certain documents also need to be uploaded by the candidates as per the required specifications.
A unique registration number will be generated after the submission of the application form for PGCIL recruitment through GATE 2022.
The candidates will be able to download their filled application form. An email will also be sent to their registered email ID.

Step 2 – Payment of Application Fees
The candidates have to pay the application fees via Online mode (credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ e-wallet). The candidates have to pay Rs. 500 as the application fees. Departmental candidates/ SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-SM candidates were exempted from payment of application fees.
Online Mode of Payment (Through Payment Gateway)
The candidates have to log into their account from where they will be directed to the payment gateway.
Selection of online method of payment can be done by the candidates. They can choose to pay with either credit card, debit card, net banking or available e-Wallet.
The transaction ID will be generated after the payment confirmation and candidates have to save all of these details.
In case the transaction status shows failed but the amount gets deducted, then the candidates are requested to wait for 2 hours to check update on payment status.
If there will be no change in the payment status, then the candidates have to email the authorities quoting the Power Grid registration number.
Selection Process for Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2022
On the basis of GATE 2022 scores, the registered candidates will be shortlisted. A list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the PGCIL website along with the schedule of further rounds. The further selection process for PGCIL recruitment through GATE will consist of:
Group Discussions (GD)
Personal Interview (PI) for the assessment of knowledge, skill, attitude, and aptitude.
The candidates will be required to carry their original GATE 2022 admit card and GATE score card while reporting for the interview. An original photo ID also has to be carried to the group discussion and interview.
During the calculation of final scores, the weightage of marks obtained will be:

Details regarding Pay and Probation of Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2022
The selected candidates will have to undergo one year of training and will be paid a pay scale of Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 1,80,000. After successfully completing the one year of training, the candidates will be retained as engineers. CTC and other emoluments may vary based on the place of posting as well as the terms of appointment. The approximate CTC will include Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowance as per the cafeteria approach, Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation/ Company Quarters or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, and more. The CTC will be per annum.
Information about Service Agreement
The selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete their one-year training period and to serve the organization for a minimum of 3 years. A service bond for Rs. 5,00,000 has to be executed by the General category candidates while the SC/ST candidates will have to execute a bond of Rs. 2,50,000.

if a person write a GATE test after 1year completion of B.TECH?

According to the eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to apply for GATE 2023. Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree or are in final year of bachelor's degree or are in pre-final year of bachelor's degree can apply for GATE 2023.
Also, the candidates who are currenlty in 1st or final year of master's degree (MA, MSC etc) or are in the 3rd /4th/5th year or already completed any dual degree program in engineering or techmology are eligible to apply for GATE 2023.
** In a nutshell, You are eligible to apply for GATE 2023 after 1 year completion of B.tech.

can we use ews in gate ? and is it required for filling the application form

Yes, candidates belonging to General EWS category can claim the reservation benefits if seeking admission or applying for recruitment based on GATE score. Candidates belonging to EWS and OBC-NCL category do not have to upload the category certificate at the time of filling the application however, they must obtain the certificate in order to submit it if they get admission in an institute based on GATE score if they wish to claim EWS reservation. Also they need to provide EWS certificate if they are applying for any PSUs based on GATE score under EWS category.
In contrast candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to upload certificate certificate at the time of application as they get concession in application fee.
Gate 2023 preparation tips for chemical engineering
If you are preparing for GATE 2023, then the first thing you should know is about the syllabus of GATE. So you can download the syllabus of GATE 2022 and start preparing based on that, because usally the syllabus won't change a much.
Now after you know the syllabus, the thing is you should start clearing those topics out from the books you have in your UG course. Now along with it, it would be better a choice for you to practice problems from the books by Pearson for GATE 2023 which have previous year problems. So studying the topics and practicing problem is the thing you must focus on till the Month of November,2022 as by then you should have completed the GATE syllabus. Now the last two months i.e., from Dec'22 to Jan'23 end you should revise and practice mock tests.
Also while you are studying topics create notes which you will revise through. Make it as brief as possible and it must contain all the important formulaes in the topic.

i paid Payment of Rs. 500 to gate to download my score card 2021 gate But I didnt get my scorecard.

GATE 2021 Score card was available to download for free until May 31, 2021. If a candidate wants to download it after May 31, 2021 to December 31, 2021 then he/she has to pay an additional amount of Rs. 500. From January 1, 2022 GATE 2021 score card will not be available to download. Since the last date to download GATE 2021 score card by paying additional charges is already over you cannot download it now. You cannot get your GATE 2021 score card as there is no provision to download it.
