It is vital that candidates applying for this recruitment meet the specified eligibility criteria for BPCL recruitment through GATE 2019 as given below to avoid being rejected.
Eligibility Criteria for BPCL Recruitment
The candidates should be of Indian nationality.
Age Limit as on June 1, 2019
The candidates belonging to the general category should be of maximum 25 years.
OBC (NCL) candidates should be maximum 28 years old.
SC/ST category candidates are required to be maximum 30 years old.
There is an age relaxation of upto 5 years for the candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989.
Similarly, ex-servicemen and commissioned officers also enjoy the age relaxation of upto 5 years.
The candidates should have completed and qualified their 4 year full time B.Tech/BE or equivalent degree from a recognized institute or University.
Final year students will also be eligible to apply. These candidates will have to submit documentary proof of having passed the degree examination with the required marks.
Candidates with integrated courses or courses with 5 years or more duration will not be termed eligible to apply for the position.
General and OBC (NCL) Category candidates should have secured minimum 60% marks.
The minimum percentage marks to be secured by the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD candidates is 50%.
A pre-employment medical examination will be done on the candidates before joining.

How to Fill Application Form for BPCL Recruitment through GATE 2019
The BPCL Recruitment 2018 application form will be released in online mode in February 2019. The candidates will have to fill all of the required information and submit the application form by the last date specified by BPCL.
What to keep ready before filling the BPCL recruitment application form?
Candidates must keep the following ready
A scanned copy of their recent colour passport photograph in PNG, JPG or JPEG format (preferably the one used in the GATE 2019 application form). The file size must not be more than 50 KB.
A soft copy of their academic degree certificate (only for candidates who have passed out)) OR latest semester mark-sheet (for candidates in their final year of graduation). The size of the certificates must not be more than 100 KB and must be in jpg, png or jpeg format.
PwD candidates are required to uppload a copy of their disability certificate (size not more than 100 kb and of type jpg, png or jpeg).

After the successful submission of the application form of BPCL recruitment through GATE 2019, a unique application number will be generated which should be noted. The PDF format of the filled application form will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates. The filled application form has to be printed out, signed and a photograph of the candidate has to be affixed. The photograph has to be similar to the one uploaded along with the application form. This printout with the photo and signature has to be submitted by the candidates if they are shortlisted for the interview.
The selection process for BPCL recruitment 2019 will consist of three stages – shortlisting, further shortlisting on the basis of performance and final selection. The process will be held after the announcement of GATE 2019 result on March 15.

The shortlisting is done based on the secured GATE 2018 scores in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering disciplines.

Note: Besides the listed shortlisting modes, at the preliminary level, the management may also conduct Psychometric tests and/or any other selection tools/ tests may also be considered.
Probation and Training: Candidates will be selected as “Management Trainee” placed in Job Group “A”. The total probation period for the candidates will be one year. In case of non-satisfactory performance, the probation period will be extended.
Post-Probation: Those candidates who complete their probation period successfully will be placed as an “Executive” in their respective business unit/entity.
Job Posting: According to the company, the candidates will be posted to any of the BPCL offices across the country.
Work Profile: The candidates will be provided their work profile. Posts in Operations, Process, Sales and Engineering at refineries may be provided. Those candidates who are posted in Operations will be required to work in shifts.
Pay Package Details of BPCL Recruitment through GATE 2019
Basic salary of Rs. 24,900 will be paid to the selected candidates. The pay scale for the candidates will range from Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50,500 along with Dearness Allowance (DA) based on IDA pattern. Depending on the posted city, the candidates will also be paid house rent assistance.
Cost to Company: Effective from January 1, 2017, Rs. 10.5 lakh per annum is the Cost to Company (CTC). This will include 50% of the basic pay as perks and allowances along with the performance related pay. It is also inclusive of 30% of basic plus DA as superannuation benefits (Provident fund, Gratuity and New Pension Scheme). Other payable requisites include housing/ vehicle loan facility, group savings linked insurance scheme and more.

No specific percentage per year or semesterwise is required for gate.
In order to apply for gate you have to be a graduation degree either passed or appearing .
