JEE Main is conducted for two papers - (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Paper 1 is for B.E./B.Tech course and the paper 2 are for B.Arch and B. Planning courses. JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted as a computer-based test. The mode of exam for B.Arch is also a computer-based test mode whereas the Drawing Test is taken offline. The B. Planning exam is accepted in computer-based test mode only. The exam allows you to take exams in thirteen languages, namely Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Urdu and Telugu. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The range of the grades is -75 to +300 in Paper 1.

JEE-Main is conducted in 2 sessions which starts from January and April.

Applicants must have passed the 10 + 2 exam or equivalent as a minimum qualification.

The JEE Main 2023 score is the subject, and the NTA score is obtained during the exam. The percentile score is what the student gets on the NTA exam. However, scoring 98 percentile is a good score for the students.
Students can appear in the exam 2 times a year.
