JEE Preparation From Class 11: - When preparing for the JEE exam 2026, it is advantageous to start from Class 11, as you will develop a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A lot of the topics in the JEE Main and Advanced exams are based on Class 11 topics, and so starting before Class 12 will help you extend your conceptual understanding of the topic without the added pressure for Class 12.

Get a hold of the entire syllabus of JEE and compare it with your Class 11 syllabus to see what is similar and what is different, and what might require more of your attention. This will help you systematically prepare for the examination.
Develop a good understanding of the conceptual framework in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Focus primarily on understanding the logic and derivations instead of memorising just the formula/concept or the chemical reactions.
Practice mock tests and previous year papers regularly. This will help you in increasing your problem-solving speed, accuracy, and familiarity with the exam pattern.
Use time efficiently, and be disciplined. Create a daily study skipping school, coaching and self-study, and the necessary. Stick to the daily study timetable, and make sure you don't take breaks that are too long.
