SPIT was established in 2005 and has a rating of AAAA by Careers360. The institute is spread across 47 acres of land and is backed by 90 faculty members. Total student intake for a four-year engineering program at SPIT is 1,766, of which 77 per cent of students are boys, and 23 per cent of the students are girls. The majority of students (about 1731 students) are from Maharashtra, and 35 students are from other states.

SPIT Management Fees Structure 2025 - 26

The seat fees after CAP is Rs. 2,12,125 P.A (approximately Rs. 8.5 Lakhs for the four-year engineering course) and the fees for the Institute level seat are Rs. 3,17,125 P.A. (approximately Rs. 12.5 lakhs for the four-year engineering course). The fee is slightly higher, but the ROI is so high that within a year, students can recover all their fees.

Demand Draft (DD) Requirement

Two DDs are required for candidates interested in both IL seats and after CAP seats. With these two seats, candidates are able to get admission either through IL vacancies or CAP vacancies.
