The authorities will shortlist candidates on the basis of their scores in qualifying degree and GATE scores. The shortlisted candidates will be called to participate in the written test/interview. The final seat allotment will be on the basis of written test/interview and GATE scores.
Candidates must note that all selected General/OBC candidates called for the written test/interview will be reimbursed to & fro fare of sleeper class by the shortest route after joining their respective programmes. However, all SC/ST/PH candidates called for the written test & interview will be reimbursed to & fro fare of sleeper class by shortest route at the time of interview. Candidates will have to produce Railway/Bus ticket in support of their claim.

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of RGIPT M.Tech 2020 beforehand as no candidate will be eligible for final seat allotment if he/she does not fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. The following table can be referred to know about RGIPT M.Tech eligibility criteria 2020.
Candidates must have passed four year B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant field.
Candidates should have 60% marks in the qualifying exam. However, the minimum percentage marks for reserved category (SC/ST/PwD) candidates is 55%.
Qualifying Entrance Exam
Candidates must have a valid GATE score card.
The reservation benefits will be provided to the candidates on the basis of norms set by the Government of India.
The exam conducting authorities will release the application form of RGIPT M.Tech 2020 in online mode. The application process of RGIPT M.Tech will include steps like payment of fee, filling of application form, Uploading documents, etc. Candidates can refer to the following steps to fill the RGIPT M.Tech application form 2020.
Step 1: Payment of Fee - In the first step, candidates will have to pay the application fee of RGIPT M.Tech through credit/debit card/Internet banking or SBI e-challan. Candidates must note that they will be able to fill the application form only 24 hours after the payment of fee.

Step 2: Student Login - After payment of fee, candidates will have to fill the application form by following the given steps-

Student Login Page will appear on screen.
Enter SBI Reference No., Name of Candidate, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the Student login page.
Click on “Submit” Button.
After this, candidate will be redirected to the registration page.
Step 3: Registration - Once the candidate is redirected to the registration page, he/she will have to fill all the required details of the application form. Candidates can refer the steps given below -
Upload Photograph in jpeg/jpg format with size less than 50 KB.
Upload Signature in jpeg/jpg format with a size less than 20 KB.
Enter Mother’s Name.
Enter Country Nam.
Enter Permanent and Communication Address.
Enter Mobile Number.
Enter Educational Details.
Enter GATE scores.
Click on Submit button.
Step 4: Preview of Application Form - After filling the all the details of the application form and clicking on the submit button, a “Preview” of application form will be generated. Candidates will have to check all the details of the form and finally submit the application form. Once the candidate submits the form, he/she will receive an SMS and will be redirected to form completion page.
Step 5: Form Completion Page - The form completion page will have details like RGIPT Registration number, name of the candidate, course applied, father’s name, date of birth and category. Candidates are advised to note the RGIPT registration number for future reference. Candidates will also have to take a print out of the application form by clicking on the given link.
Student Login for Editing - Applicants will be able to make corrections to their registration/application form with the help of the Student Login for Editing by following the given steps -

Enter RGIPT registration number, email address and password.
Update the required information.
Click on “Update’ button.
The admission authorities will prepare a merit list of candidates on the basis of GATE scores and scores in the qualifying degree. Such candidates who will have their names in the merit list will be called for written test/interview.
The exam conducting authorities will release the result of RGIPT M.Tech written test tentatively in the third week of July. Candidates will be able to check their results by logging in to the result portal. Candidates can refer the given steps to check RGIPT M.Tech 2020 result. Candidates who will be qualified will be invited to appear for the interview before finally offered seat for admission to M.Tech. The interview will be held at respective campuses for which a schedule will be released after announcement of result.

For your gate marks of 48, you may be having gate score in range of 560-575. For this score, you won't be able to make to PSUs. But you may get into MTech schools. The possible schools are-
IIIT jabalpur, NIT bhopal and NIT jamshedpur. These are the option in elite group. Rest you may get the private colleges.

now it also depends on students category, if you are from general category, there is less chances in government colleges. how ever till now cutoff score is yet to declare,

This year the paper of EE was quiet tough in gate. Here I am providing few options based on your marks, but remember these predictions are based on last year. So, you may have few more choice than the listed if the scoring of everyone is low. Your possible gate score will lie in range of 425-440
