RGIPT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2019
The officially prescribed eligibility criteria of RGIPT 2019 will be basically a set of parameters which candidates who are applying will be required to fulfil. For those who will fail to meet RGIPT M.Tech 2019 eligibility criteria, they will be denied admission to the institute and programmes offered.
Candidates can check RGIPT M.Tech eligibility criteria 2019 as mentioned below:
GATE - Only candidates who have qualified in GATE 2019 exam will be eligible to apply for admission.
Qualifying Degree - Candidates applying for Petroleum Engineering must have completed 4-year B.Tech/ B.E. degree in Petroleum Engineering from a recognised institution.
For those applying to Chemical Engineering, they must have completed 4-year B.Tech/ B.E. degree in any of the following programmes - Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Ceramic and Glass Technology, Chemical Technology, Electrochemical Engineering, Oil Technology, Paint Technology, Plastic Technology, Polymer Technology, Rubber Technology or Petrochemical Engineering.
Qualifying Marks - Candidates need to have minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI in their qualifying degree. For SC/ ST candidates, minimum 55% marks or 5.5 CPI is required under the same criteria.
The application form for RGIPT M.Tech admission 2019 was available in online mode till June 10. Candidates will have to fill all valid details in RGIPT M.Tech 2019 application form and submit it on or before the last date.

A list of shortlisted candidates on the basis of GATE scores will be released on June 21. Such candidates will have to appear for the exam on July 5.
After all the applications will be received, the authorities will shortlist the candidates on the basis of their GATE scores. Such candidates will be required to appear for written test and interview at Jais, Amethi.
Note: Candidates belonging to General/OBC category will be reimbursed to & fro fare of sleeper class by after joining their respective programmes. However, SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female candidates will be reimbursed at the time of interview. Candidates will have to produce railway/ bus tickets to claim their reimbursement.
The authorities will announce the result of RGIPT M.Tech 2019 in online mode on July 17. RGIPT M.Tech 2019 result will have candidates’ registration number, gender, name, father’s name and category mentioned in it.
