Students seeking admission to NIT Mizoram should have appeared and qualified the JEE Main exam. Students should have appeared in any or both of the attempts, as the best of the two scores will be considered for ranking and the admission process. Students who qualify for the exam should register for the counselling conducted by JoSAA. At the time of counselling, students have to enter their choices of institute and course.

With around 76 percentile in JEE Main and 75.8% in boards, you still have decent options for CSE/IT, mainly in private colleges and state counselling. Top NITs/IIITs for CSE will be very difficult, but colleges like Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, GL Bajaj
