NTA had released a JEE advisory stating that candidates should update their Aadhaar, UDID and category certificates with correct information before filling out the JEE Main session 2 registration 2026. This is assumed to be in view of last year’s trouble with the name mismatch in the Class 10th certificate and Aadhaar. So, to avoid such issues, candidates should update their name, father’s name, address, photograph and date of birth, wherever applicable, in advance.
