JEE Mains 2026 Registration Date - NTA is yet to announce the JEE Main 2026 registration date. As per last year's trend, the JEE Main registration is expected to begin in the third week of October. The official website for the JEE Main application form 2026 will be jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main exam will be conducted in two sessions: Session 1 will take place between January 21 to 30, 2026, while the April session is scheduled for April 1 to 10, 2026. Candidates will have to apply for both sessions of JEE Main 2026 separately. Before that, aspirants are advised to keep their Aadhaar, UDID and category certificates (if any) updated with current details.

The JEE Main 2026 examination for BE and BTech courses paper 1 will include three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It comprises Mathematics, an Aptitude Test, and a third section that differs based on the selected course – Paper 2A for BArch and Paper 2B for BPlanning.

What to do Before JEE Main Registration 2026 Start Date?

NTA had released a JEE advisory stating that candidates should update their Aadhaar, UDID and category certificates with correct information before the start date of JEE Main session 2 registration 2026. This is assumed to be in view of last year’s trouble with the name mismatch in Class 10th certificate and Aadhaar. So, to avoid such issues, candidates should update their name, father’s name, address, photograph and date of birth, wherever applicable.
