How to Calculate IIT JEE 2026 Scores Using Jan 22 Shift 1 Question Paper Answer Key PDF?

After your shift is over, you will be able to estimate IIT JEE your scores using the question paper and answer key PDF. You have to remember at least the answers of the questions you have attempted. You will be able to check all the questions and answers in the downloable pdf given above. Once you have done that, you can calculate your JEE Mains score using the following formula.

    JEE Mains Score = ( Correct answer MCQ) * 4 - ( Wrong answer MCQ) * 1 + (Correct answer Numerical * 4)
Note: There is no negative marking for wrong numerical questions.

If you dont remember the answer to any 'x' number of questions then count them as "wrong answer MCQ" in the first time and mark it as lower range. Calculate it one more time and this time mark it as "correct answer MCQ" to get your upper limit. Now suppose you got 154 as your lower range, 194 as your upper range then that means your JEE Mains score is in the range of 154 and 194.
