Verma Concepts of Physics is a very good book to read up on Physics as well as O.P. Tandon Organic Chemistry and R.D. Sharma Objective Mathematics are also very common books on Chemistry and Mathematics respectively.
H.C. Verma Concepts of Physics is a very useful text in establishing a strong foundation of physics in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), but it is not reasonable to only depend on it alone to obtain a high score in the JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations.
