    JAC Chandigarh 2025 B.Tech Seat Allotment Procedure

    The authority allocates the seats to the candidates based on the choices they fill. Candidates who are considered eligible to fill the choices must complete the JAC Chandigarh BTech choice filling as per the schedule. The information regarding the JAC Chandigarh 2025 BTech seat allotment will be intimated online at the official website and will be informed through SMS.

    For candidates who have been allotted a seat during any round of counselling, the following steps should be followed:

    Step 1: Payment of Admission Fee - Candidates are required to pay an admission fee of Rs. 40000 using net banking, credit/debit card or e-challan.

    Step 2: Submission of Choice - Except for spot round counselling, candidates must submit their willingness for an upgrade for the next rounds of counselling and seat allocation. Upon successful completion of the fee payment and willingness to upgrade process, a provisional letter of admission will be displayed online. Candidates who have paid the fees will be considered as successfully identified candidates for their assigned seats. Candidates who withdraw their provisional admission for subsequent rounds of counselling will not be considered.

    Step 3: Document Verification - Candidates must then report to the designated centre for the verification of all required documents.

    What are the documents required for JAC Chandigarh B.Tech Seat Allotment 2025?

    Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the seats and report to the allotted institutes along with the required documents. Below is the list of documents to carry while reporting to the institute.

    • Marks list of 12th class
    • 10th class certificate for date of birth.
    • JEE main 2025 score card.
    • Character certificate (common to all participating Institutes)
    • SC/ST certificate for Institutes of Panjab University
    • SC/ST certificate for Institutes under the Chandigarh Administration
    • Freedom fighter certificate (Common to all Participating Institutes)
    • Only girl child certificate for Institutes of Panjab University
    • EWS certificates (Common to Institutes of Panjab University and CCET)
    • Border area certificate for Institutes of Panjab University
    • Rural area certificate for Institutes of Panjab University
    • Undertakings and other annexures related to the Sports Category for Institutes of Panjab University

    • Certificate from the institution where the candidate has already been admitted (Original Certificate): In case the original certificates have been submitted in some other institute, the candidate has to submit a certificate from the Head of that institution where those certificates have been submitted, certifying the same (After getting admission in any of the participating institutes under JAC-2025, the original certificates must be submitted in the respective institute within next 05 working days).
