IPU B.Tech Seat Allotment 2024 - GGSIPU released the seat allotment results for round 3 of IPU BTech admission 2024, at ipu.admissions.nic.in. The updated dates for the counselling and seat allotment of IPU B.Tech 2024 at available here. The authority released the seat allotment result for round 1 of IPU BTech 2024 admission on July 6 and that of round 2 on July 16. Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm their admission before the last date. The authorities conduct IPU B.Tech admission based on JEE Main scores and the IPU CET exam. To check the IPU B.Tech seat allotment, candidates have to log in using their application number and password. The authority has released the schedule for IPU BTech 2024 counselling in the official notifications.

IPU BTech cutoff 2024 for each round will be updated here once officially released. IPU CET counselling and seat allotment was conducted in three rounds. There will be a spot admission round as well. The allotment of seats is done on the basis of choices filled by the candidates and their position in the merit of the IPU CET 2024 exam. Candidates who will be allotted seats have to confirm their acceptance of the seat, pay the seat acceptance fee, and report to the allotted institute within the specified date.

Candidates who are eligible for the IPU CET 2024 counselling have to register on its official website by filling out the IPU CET counselling registration form. Firstly, the candidates have to pay the required fee through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline (challan) mode after logging in using their credentials. Details such as personal, academic and contact details had to be submitted by the candidates. A login ID and password will be issued to the registered candidates.
Next, the registered candidates have to log into their accounts and select their preferred colleges and courses. It should be remembered that the selection should be done as per the candidate’s preference. It is advised that the maximum number of options should be entered by the candidates.
The authority has released the IPU CET 2024 seat allotment results for rounds 1, 2 and 3 online. Candidates who registered for the counselling process were allotted seats through IPU CET 2024 seat allotment. It is done as per the merit of the candidate, preferences, category and availability of seat.
Using their credentials, the candidates will have to log into their accounts.
Candidates will be able to check their allotment status after logging in.
All of the allotted candidates will have to print out the allotment letter and pay the required fee to confirm their admission.
The payment of the part academic fee will be done in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card). An admission fee receipt will be generated after the payment is made.

Allotted candidates have to freeze their respective seats if satisfied. By freezing their allotted seats, the candidates indicate that they do not wish to participate in the further rounds of counselling and seat allotment. Candidates who want to participate in the next rounds need not freeze their seats.
After paying the part academic fee, if any candidate wishes to withdraw from their allotted seat, then he/she will have to do so by logging into their account. Though these candidates will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling, they can still apply for the spot round of counselling.
Finally, the allotted candidates will have to report to their respective colleges for admission confirmation. At the institute, the candidates will have to verify their documents and pay the remaining fee. The candidates need to complete this process within the designated time otherwise they will be disqualified.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in any round but did not pay the part academic fees of INR 96,000. Such candidates shall not be considered in subsequent rounds of counselling.
Candidates who were allocated a seat in any round, paid the part academic fee of INR 96,000 and then withdrew the admission following the specified procedure.
Allotted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw from the seat allotted and no refund request will be entertained by the authorities after the final round of allotment.
The category wise and region wise seats will be converted to the unreserved category during the final round after the seat allotment of the reserved category concludes.
Allotted candidates who have paid the part academic fee but have not frozen their seats will be able to participate in the sliding round.
In the sliding round, those candidates who got seats in previous rounds and paid the academic fee but failed to freeze their seats are eligible. During this round, allotment is done according to their merit and selected preferences.
The exam conducting authority will release the IPU CET seat allotment result for spot admission on the official website after the conclusion of the IPU B.Tech rounds 1, 2 and 3 seat allotment processes.
