IPU CET Seat Allotment 2018: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will be conducting the IPU CET 2018 seat allotment tentatively in the first week of July 2018. The seat allotment of IPU CET 2018 will be held in online mode by the conducting authorities. IPU CET 2018 Counselling
Firstly, to participate in the counselling of IPU CET 2018, the candidates will have to register themselves and pay Rs. 1000 as counselling fees. The payment can be done in both online (net banking/credit card/debit card) and offline mode (challan). After payment, the candidates will again have to login using their IPU CET 2018 roll number, name, date of birth and result status. The candidates will have to submit their academic, personal and contact information after which they will be issued their login ID and password.
Choice Filling of IPU CET Seat Allotment 2018
Next, the candidates will have to log in using their credentials and complete the choice filling process of IPU CET 2018 seat allotment. Selection of courses and colleges according to preference has to be done by the candidates. The maximum number of options have to be entered by the candidates to ensure that he/she is allotted to the seat of his/her preference. All candidates are advised to take a print out of their selected choices for future reference.
IPU CET Seat Allotment 2018
All registered candidates will be allotted seats according to their ranking, category, region and preference of seats. All of the candidates will be able to check their allotment status in online mode. Those candidates who are successfully allotted will have to pay the part academic fee. The choices selected during the registration process of IPU CET 2018 seat allotment will be considered by the admission authorities during the allotment procedure.
Steps to Check IPU CET 2018 Seat Allotment Status
The candidates will have to log into their account.
The allotment status will be reflected on the screen.
The selected candidates will be able to print their IPU CET seat allotment 2018 letter according to the schedule.
Who will not be eligible for IPU CET 2018 Seat Allotment?
Those candidates who have not paid the counselling fees.
Candidates who paid the counselling fees but failed to register themselves.
Those candidates who paid the counselling fees and registered themselves but failed to complete the choice filling process.
Candidates who will be allotted in any round but fail to pay the part academic fees. These candidates will not be considered for the next rounds of seat allotment of IPU CET 2018.
Candidates who after seat allotment and payment of part academic fees will withdraw their admission.
These candidates will however be eligible for Spot Counselling/ Seat Allotment Round.
IPU CET 2018 Seat Allotment – Payment of Part Academic Fee
The selected candidates will be able to pay the part academic fees through two modes:
Online Mode – The payment can be done through net banking/credit card/debit card.
Offline Mode – Through bank challan in cash at any Indian Bank branch.
After the candidates successfully pay the part academic fee, the admission fee receipt has to be printed out. If the payment has been done through bank challan, then the candidates will be able to take the printout after two days of the payment.
IPU CET Seat Allotment 2018 - Freezing of Seats
If the candidate is satisfied with their allotted seat, then he/she will have to freeze their seats. This means that the candidate does not wish to participate in the subsequent rounds and wants to get admission in the seat allotted to him/her through seat allotment of IPU CET 2018.
IPU CET 2018 Seat Allotment – Withdrawal and Fee Refund
If the candidate wishes to withdraw from their allotted seat after payment of part academic fee, then he/she may do so by logging into their account. These candidates will not be considered for the subsequent rounds of counselling but will be allowed to participate int he spot round of IPU CET seat allotment 2018.
Reporting at Allotted Institutes
All of the allotted candidates will have to report at their respective institutes to confirm their admission. The candidates will have to pay the remaining tuition fees and verify their documents to complete their admission process. A set of copies attested by the gazetted officer or self attested should also be submitted. Failure to complete this process within the designated time will make the candidates ineligible for admission.

Final Round of IPU CET 2018 Seat Allotment
The candidates will not be allowed to withdraw from the allotted seat and no fee refund will be allowed after the last round of seat allotment of IPU CET 2018.
During the last round of IPU CET Seat Allotment 2018, the category wise and region wise seats will be converted to unreserved category after the seat allotment of reserved category is completed.
Those candidates who have been allocated seats and have paid the part academic fees of Rs. 40000 but have not frozen their allotment neither have withdrawn will be considered eligible for the sliding round of online seat allotment of IPU CET 2018.
Sliding Round of IPU CET Seat Allotment 2018
For the sliding round, those candidates who have been allotted seats before and have paid the part academic fee of Rs. 40,000 but have not withdrawn or frozen their seat will be eligible.
The sliding will be done based on the merit and preferences of the candidates.
IPU CET 2018 Spot Round Allotment
After the entire admission process is completed, the spot round of IPU CET seat allotment 2018 will be conducted if there are vacant seats still available. The spot round will be conducted tentatively in the first week of August 2018 in offline mode. The candidates will have to pay Rs. 2000 for the spot round. Those candidates who are not admitted or have withdrawn at any round will be eligible for IPU CET 2018 spot round allotment. During the spot round, no withdrawal or refund of fees will be allowed.
