How to fill IPU B.Tech Application Form 2026

The IPU B.Tech 2026 application form for phase 1 has been released on February 2, 2026 on the official website, ipu.ac.in. Interested applicants can fill out the IPU B.Tech application form in online mode only. No other mode is available to apply for the IPU B.Tech 2026. The following are the steps needed to follow by the candidates to fill out an online IPU B.Tech 2026 application form.

Step-1: Registration -

• Visit the official website - ipu.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to create a USER ID by providing details includes name, mobile number, email id, password and security pin.
• A login ID and password will be generated after initial registration. The credentials will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address.

Step-2: Filling of Exam Category -

• Initially, the applicants need to log in and choose their category of the examination. i.e. B.Tech or Biotechnology.

• After that process to fill in other details on the online application form.

Step-3: General Information -

• Here, the candidates will have to enter the other necessary details on the application form without any mistakes such as candidate’s name, date of birth, parent’s name, category, gender, email address and much more.

• After that, they need to and the photo and DOB certificate in the prescribed format.

Step-5: Declaration - Here, the candidates will have to enter the “Captcha” as appear on the screen. After that, they need to read the declaration carefully. Click on the “I Agree” check box on the web page. Click on the “Save & Final Submit” button before the final submission.

Step-7: Filling the Course Details - Candidates will also check the information that is already filled in the previous stages of application form.

Step-8: Fee Payment - The application fee of Rs.1500 should be paid through online mode includes [Debit/Credit card (Visa Card or Mastercard only) and net banking]. Also, they have to pay an additional convenience fee along with the application fee.

Step-9: Final Registration and Generation of Form - A transaction identity number will be generated after the successful payment. Candidates need to take a printout of the same for future use.

Step-10: Preview of Registered Course Details - Finally, the candidates can preview the submitted application form for checking purposes.
