LPU Counselling Registration
Interested candidates who had appeared in the January session and had a valid JEE Main 2020 score will have to register for LPU B. Tech special counselling. The last date to register for Special Counselling for B. Tech Admissions at LPU is April 20 wherein, candidates will have to provide various details. The online counselling will be conducted between April 22 and 24 and candidates will be shortlisted accordingly for B. tech admission in LPU during lockdown.
JEE Main Score for LPU B. Tech Counselling
The authorities have specifically announced this special counselling for B. Tech admissions at LPU to be based on the score obtained by candidates in JEE Main 2020. Thus candidates should know how to take B. Tech admission in LPU during lockdown through JEE Main scores. As it is already known that the LPUNEST, the entrance examination for admissions at LPU under various programmes has been postponed, and so is the case with the JEE Main April session. That is why the authorities, in order to save candidates’ time and their uncertain year of career due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have introduced this very idea.
LPU Scholarships
The authorities have also announced to provide students taking part in this special online LPU B Tech counselling with scholarships of upto 50%. The same will be granted based on the score obtained in JEE Main 2020. Further, after declaration of CBSE results that are awaited for the time being, or the candidate score in LPUNEST that will be conducted later, these respective scores shall also be considered for the purpose of candidate scholarship.
About JEE Main
JEE Main stands for Joint Entrance Examination which is an entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for engineering admissions offered by various institutes across the country. The exam is conducted twice a year in January and April by NTA. As of now, the January session has already been conducted and the April session has been postponed and is expected to be conducted in the last week of May as per latest announcements by NTA. There are many private institutions in India that don’t conduct any separate entrance examination for B. Tech admissions and keep the JEE Main score a standard for providing admissions.

LPUNEST is National level test for the Eligibility and Scholarship. For the admission in Btech CSE the eligibility condition is 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST

To apply the test it is very simple procedure
Step 1 - Signup
- Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
- You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
- Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.
STEP 2 - Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)
LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in.
STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear
- Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the LPUNEST Exam.
STEP 4 - Result
- Get your scorecard/ rank.
STEP 5 - Admission

- A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.

hii! I have scored 49percent in my undergraduate and scored first class with scholarship in LPU NEST and selected in interview also .my question is whether i will select in eligibility criteria or not?
LPU offers nine integrated programmes to the students across Engineering, Science, Education, Commerce, Management and Law streams.
Eligibility for Diploma Programs
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th or equivalent from a school recognized by a recognized school board.
Eligibility for Bachelors / Undergraduate Programs
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent from a school recognized by a recognized school board.
Therefore,you have to pass you previous academics with 60% but you have stated that you have passed with 49% which was not met with the eligibility criteria.But there might be a chance as you have scored well in entrance exam conducted by LPU.So once directly contact with the management of LPU through the details available in their official website.
