All entrance tests for engineering programmes have the same general eligibility criteria. 

• Diploma entrance exams- Applicants should have passed at least class 10th to be eligible for admission to diploma courses.
• BE/BTech entrance exams- Students have to clear the qualifying exam (class 12) with a valid aggregate score in physics, mathematics and chemistry.
• MTech entrance exams- Candidates must have passed the undergraduate degree in relevant subjects with a specified percentage of marks.
