1. Clear Your Basics
First, study your NCERT books properly. If your basics in Physics, Chemistry, and Math are strong, you can solve any type of question. Keep formulas, definitions, and simple rules in mind.
2. Mock Tests and Old Papers
Practice the mock tests daily. They will make you solve papers quickly and give you the feel of the actual exam. Also, look at last few years’ papers to know which topics appear often. After every test, analyze your mistakes and do the revision of those topics.
3. Improve your Speed and Accuracy
The exam duration is 2 hours for 60 questions, so time is less. Don’t spend too much time on one question. If it looks tough, skip and come back later. Try to solve papers fast and be correct because there is negative marking in MCQs.
4. Focus on Important Chapters
Some topics give more marks. For example, Calculus, Geometry, Electrostatics, Thermodynamics, and Organic Chemistry basics are very important. Also, don’t ignore English and Aptitude, they are usually easy and help you score quickly.
5. Keep doing Revisions Every Day
Keep short notes which include formulas and important points. Do your revisions daily, especially in the last few days. Daily revision will be beneficial for you memorize better and give you confidence while you give the exam.
