Haryana Polytechnic Inter se Merit/Rank 2025

HSTES will release the Haryana Polytechnic 2025 merit list on the official website. The inter se merit list of Haryana Polytechnic 2025 will be based on the marks secured class 10 / SSC exam. The merit list be used to shortlist candidates for counselling and seat allotment. The following methods are used to determine the inter se merit of Haryana Polytechnic 2025.

Procedure of Determining Haryana Polytechnic 2025 Inter se Merit/Rank

  • The percentage of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the Secondary School Examination - SSC (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying exam.

  • The marks secured by the candidates will be rounded off up to four decimal places in the individual subjects and grand total while the marks of the individual subject will be converted out of 100 and the percentage of Aggregate Marks will be calculated.

  • For calculating the percentage of subject-wise and Aggregate Marks, the marks of individual subjects and the Grand Total given by the respective School Board will be considered.

  • If the subject-wise and Aggregate Marks of candidates are not mentioned by the concerned Board then the GPA and CGPA awarded by the Board will be considered for calculating the percentage of subject-wise and Aggregate Marks according to the Conversion Factor mentioned in the Mark Sheet.

  • If the concerned Board does not mention the aggregate marks or CGPA in the mark sheet, then the total marks of all the subjects will be considered for calculating the percentage of aggregate marks of the Qualifying Exam.

Tie-Breaking Rule

In case of tie while preparing the Haryana Polytechnic inter se merit the following steps will be taken into consideration to break the tie.

  • Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.

  • If a tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Science will be given a higher rank.

  • If a tie persists, candidates with higher marks in English will be given a higher rank.

  • If a tie persists, the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank.

  • If a tie persists, a candidate whose name comes first as per the alphabetical order will be given a higher rank.

  • If a tie persists, a candidate whose Father’s name comes first as per the alphabetical order will be given a higher rank.

  • If a tie still persists, a candidate whose Mother’s name comes first as per the alphabetical order will be given a higher rank.

Haryana Polytechnic Cut off 2025

The authority will release the Haryana Polytechnic 2025 cutoff on the official website. The cutoff will be released after each round of Haryana Diploma counselling. Candidates can check the cutoff to know the minimum marks required for admission to the Haryana Polytechnic participating institutes. The authority will consider various factors to determine the cutoff of Haryana Polytechnic. The candidates who will qualify the cutoff of Haryana 2025 will have higher chances of admission.
