Haryana Polytechnic 2020 - Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) will release the Haryana Polytechnic 2020 merit list/rank list on September 9. Before this, the authorities released the revised official brochure for Haryana Polytechnic courses along with announcing all the admission dates. The authorities started the registration process of Haryana Polytechnic 2020 from August 1 and was available till August 31 in online mode and till September 1 through E-challan. Haryana Polytechnic 2020 is an admission process conducted for admission to diploma engineering courses offered by various polytechnics across the state of Haryana. It should be noted that no entrance test will be conducted for Haryana Polytechnic 2020 and the admission is on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Class 10th or equivalent exam. The authorities will prepare an inter se merit/rank of the candidates on the basis of marks of the candidates in the qualifying exam. Haryana Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of Haryana Polytechnic 2020 before applying for the admission procedure. No candidate will be eligible for the final seat allotment if he/she does not fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. Candidates must have passed Class 10th or equivalent exam.
Candidates must have obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
However, the minimum percentage is 33% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category or Kashmiri Migrants Category.
Candidates should have passed in Maths and Science subjects in the qualifying examination.

Steps to Fill Online Haryana Polytechnic 2020 Application Form
Step 1: Selection of course and Registration- After clicking on “Apply”, candidates will have to choose the course he/she is applying for. Once the candidate chooses the course a registration window will open. Here, candidates will have to enter basic details like name, gender, date of birth, mobile number and email ID. Upon successful registration, an account will be created.
Step 2: Application Form Filling- After creating an account, candidate will have to login and enter the other required details of the application form like personal, communication and educational details.
Step 3: Uploading of Documents- After entering all the details of the form, candidate will have to upload the scanned images of his photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by the authorities.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee- After uploading the documents, candidates have to pay the application fee for the admission process. The payment of fee can be done in online mode through Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking or in offline mode through E-challan which will be generated at the time of filling application form of Haryana Polytechnic 2020 in any of the following branches:

Step 5: Print out of Application Form- After this, candidates will have to take the print out of the completed application form and keep it safely for future reference.
Step 6: Document Verification- After taking the print out, the candidates will have to report the designated centres for document verification and confirmation of details filled in the application form.
Haryana Polytechnic Inter se Merit/Rank 2020
After the application process is completed, the authorities will prepare Inter se merit/Rank of the candidates on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam. Haryana Polytechnic Inter se merit/Rank 2020 will be used to shortlist candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process. It should be noted that inter se merit/rank is prepared for only those candidates who will submit the complete application form and get it verified before the last date. Procedure of Determining Haryana Polytechnic 2020 Inter se Merit/Rank
The percentage of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the Secondary School Examination - SSC (Matriculation) or equivalent qualifying examination will be the basis for determining the Inter-se-Merit.
The marks secured by the candidates will be rounded off upto four decimal places in individual subject and grand total while the marks of the individual subject will be converted out of 100 and percentage of Aggregate Marks will be calculated.
For calculating the percentage of subject wise and Aggregate Marks, the marks of individual subject and Grand Total given by the respective School Board will be considered.
If the subject wise and Aggregate Marks of candidates are not mentioned by the concerned Board then GPA and CGPA awarded by the Board will be considered for calculating the percentage of subject wise and Aggregate Marks according to the Conversion Factor mentioned in Mark Sheet.
If the aggregate marks or CGPA is not mentioned by the concerned Board in the mark sheet, then total marks of all the subjects will be considered for calculating percentage of aggregate marks of Qualifying Examination.
If two or more candidates have the same marks in the qualifying exam, the given tie-breaking rule is considered to determine the inter se merit of such candidates.
Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate with higher marks in Science will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate with higher marks in English will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, the candidate older in age will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate whose name comes first as per the alphabetical order will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate whose Father’s name comes first as per the alphabetical order will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate whose Mother’s name comes first as per the alphabetical order will be given higher rank.
Haryana Polytechnic Cut off 2020
The cutoff of Haryana Polytechnic 2020 will be the institute-wise opening and closing rank of the candidates. The cutoff will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. Haryana Polytechnic 2020 cutoff will depend on various factors like number of applicants, availability of seats and category of candidates. The candidates who will qualify the cutoff of Haryana Polytechnic 2020 will have higher chances of admission.
