Verification of Documents - After completing the application form for Haryana Polytechnic 2025, candidates will have to proceed with document verification. Candidates will have to report to the designated centres for verification of documents and confirmation of details provided by them.
The authorities will release the Haryana Polytechnic 2025 inter se merit list on July 8, 2025 on the website, hstes.org.in. The merit list of Haryana Polytechnic 2025 will be based on the marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates whose names appear in the Haryana Polytechnic merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Percentage of Aggregate Marks obtained at Secondary School Examination (SSC) or equivalent qualifying examination
Rounding off marks will be done up to 4 decimals in each subject and the total
For calculating subject-wise and aggregate percentage, marks of the individual subject and total will be considered.
In case aggregate marks or the CGPA is not mentioned, then the total marks of all the subjects should be considered.
The authorities will follow the below steps if two or more students lie on the same merit rank as per the rules:
Candidates who obtained higher marks on the qualifying exam in mathematics will be given preference.
In the event of a tie, the candidate with the higher qualifying marks in science will be given preference.
If a tie still exists, the candidate with the higher marks in English on the qualifying exam will be given preference.
The candidate's date of birth will be taken into account if the tie continues. An older candidate will be given preference.
The candidate's name in English will thereafter be taken into consideration in alphabetical order according to their matriculation mark sheet. A candidate will get a higher ranking if their name appears first.
If there is a tie, the applicant's father's name in English as it appears on their matriculation mark sheet will be taken into consideration. The candidate whose father’s name appears first will be given a better rank.
If the tie exists, the name of the candidates’ mother in English as per the matriculation mark sheet will be considered in alphabetical order. A candidate whose mother’s name appears first will be given a better rank.
The authorities will release the Haryana Polytechnic cutoff on August 14, 2025 on the official website. The cutoff of Haryana Polytechnic 2025 will be released after each round of counselling. Haryana Polytechnic cutoff is the minimum mark required for admission to the participating institutes. Candidates whose marks are more than the cutoff will be offered admission.
