    Haryaha BTech Admission 2026 - HSTES will start the Haryana BTech 2026 registration soon. The authority has released the complete dates for Haryana BTech admission 2026 on the official website, hstes.org.in. Only those to fulfill the Haryana BTech eligibility criteria can apply for the admission process. Note that there is no entrance exam.85% of the seats are reserved for the Haryana candidates. Whereas Haryana B.Tech admission 2026 offers 15% of seats for other state candidates.

    HSTES Eligibility Criteria 2026

    The authority has released the HSTES 2026 eligibility criteria in the Haryana BTech prospectus. The eligibility criteria for Haryana B.Tech admission 2026 comprise education qualification, qualifying marks, domicile requirement, and more. Moreover, the HSTES eligibility criteria 2026 will differ for regular candidates, KM, HGST, and TFW categories. Eligible candidates have to complete the HSTES BTech counselling.

    B.Tech

    • Qualifying Exam - Candidates should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination from a recognized board or University.

    • Qualifying Marks - Should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the given subjects - Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.

    • For reserved category candidates, the mark to be secured is 40%.

    B.Tech (Biotechnology)

    The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Mathematics/Biology, and any one of the given subjects - Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.

    Procedure of HSTES Admission 2026 for KM/HGST/TFW Category

    Category

    Criteria

    Kashmiri Migrants (KM)

    • Based on the inter-se merit of the qualifying exam, the candidates applying as Kashmiri Migrants will get admission into supernumerary seats.

    • Percentage will be calculated based on marks secured in Mathematics, Physics, English, and any of the given subjects - Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.

    • Candidates under this category will have to present an original certificate of migration duly signed by the competent authority of the Relief commissioner.

    Haryana Government School Toppers (HGST)

    • Admission will be done based on inter-se merit of 10+2. The seats will be allotted to each topper (minimum 2nd division i.e., 50% marks in aggregate) of Govt. Senior Secondary School offering science stream (having minimum 5 students on roll in the science stream).

    • The other eligibility criteria also have to be fulfilled.

    • A certificate supporting their claim from the Principal/Headmaster of the Govt. school of which the candidate is the topper has to be presented. The strength of the class has to be stated in the certificate.

    Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW)

    • The candidates under this category will be allotted to the supernumerary seats.

    • Candidates whose parents’ annual income is less than Rs. 8 lac from all sources will be eligible.

    • The relevant income certificate issued by a competent authority has to be produced.

    HSTES Application Form 2026

    The authority conducts the HSTES 2026 application form from May to June 2026, on the official website. Candidates who fulfil the minimum criteria could fill out the application form online. The application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and choice filling. Eligible candidates must complete the Haryana BTech registration process before the last date.     Step 1 - Registration - Firstly, the candidates will have to register using the steps given below:

    Step 3 - Submission of Application Form and Choice Filling - After all of the details are filled in, the candidates have to submit the application form of HSTES admission 2026. Since no changes are accepted after submission, the candidates are advised to check the application form carefully beforehand. Following the submission, the candidates must log in and fill in their choice of courses and institutes in order of preference. Since the allotment will be based on preferred choices, the candidates are advised to fill in a maximum number of choices.

    The authorities will release the HSTES 2026 merit list online. Registered candidates will be able to download the merit list using their roll number. Through the merit list, the registered candidates will be able to check whether they are eligible for the counselling session or not. The authorities will prepare the merit list based on JEE Main scores.

    Steps to Check HSTES Admission 2026 Merit List

    • The candidates will have to select their course and enter their roll number.

    • Click on “Submit”.

    • The merit list will be displayed on the screen.

    HSTES Cutoff 2026

    The authorities will release the HSTES 2026 cutoff online after each round of counselling. Candidates can check the Haryana BTech cutoff to know the minimum rank required for admission. While preparing the cutoff, the candidates will consider various factors such as the number of seats, number of applicants, previous year trends, and more into consideration. It should be noted that the HSTES 2026 cutoff will vary for each course, institute, and category.

    HSTES Counselling & Seat Allotment 2026

    The authority will conduct the HSTES BTech counselling online. Candidates will be able to exercise the HSTES choice filling and locking process through login. Candidates who completed the registration and document verification process can participate in the HSTES counselling & seat allotment process. The seat allotment is based on the JEE Main score, references, and availability of seats. Candidates allotted seats have to report to the allotted seat for admission.

Through the admission process, the candidates will get allotted into participating government colleges, government-aided institutes, private institutes, and deemed colleges located in Haryana.
