The authority conducts the HSTES 2026 application form from May to June 2026, on the official website. Candidates who fulfil the minimum criteria could fill out the application form online. The application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and choice filling. Eligible candidates must complete the Haryana BTech registration process before the last date. Step 3 - Submission of Application Form and Choice Filling - After all of the details are filled in, the candidates have to submit the application form of HSTES admission 2026. Since no changes are accepted after submission, the candidates are advised to check the application form carefully beforehand. Following the submission, the candidates must log in and fill in their choice of courses and institutes in order of preference. Since the allotment will be based on preferred choices, the candidates are advised to fill in a maximum number of choices.

The authorities will release the HSTES 2026 merit list online. Registered candidates will be able to download the merit list using their roll number. Through the merit list, the registered candidates will be able to check whether they are eligible for the counselling session or not. The authorities will prepare the merit list based on JEE Main scores.

The authorities will release the HSTES 2026 cutoff online after each round of counselling. Candidates can check the Haryana BTech cutoff to know the minimum rank required for admission. While preparing the cutoff, the candidates will consider various factors such as the number of seats, number of applicants, previous year trends, and more into consideration. It should be noted that the HSTES 2026 cutoff will vary for each course, institute, and category.
The authority will conduct the HSTES BTech counselling online. Candidates will be able to exercise the HSTES choice filling and locking process through login. Candidates who completed the registration and document verification process can participate in the HSTES counselling & seat allotment process. The seat allotment is based on the JEE Main score, references, and availability of seats. Candidates allotted seats have to report to the allotted seat for admission.
Candidates must check the list of participating institutes for HSTES admission 2026 online. Through the admission process, the candidates will get allotted into participating government colleges, government-aided institutes, private institutes, and deemed colleges located in Haryana. The preferred participating institute needs to be selected while registering for the counselling procedure.
