HSTES Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for admission in the B.Tech course in Haryana need to fulfil the eligibility criteria set up by the institute and government. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility will be considered for admission. The authority will update the HSTES eligibility criteria 2025 on the official website. Until then, candidates can check the HSTES eligibility criteria based on the previous year below.

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals and bonafide residents of Haryana

  • Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam

  • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in their class 12 exam

  • Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with anyone in Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science.

  • Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech Biotechnology must have Biology/Biotechnology as a subject in their class 12

HSTES Application Form 2025: Document Required

Candidates must keep all the necessary documents ready before filling out the HSTES application form 2025, so as not to face any problems. A list of all such documents which will be required to fill out the application form is given here

  • Marks statement and certificates of class 10 and 12

  • JEE Main 2025 scorecard (if applying through JEE Main)

  • Scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature

How to Fill HSTES Application Form 2025

Candidates applying for Haryana B.Tech admission 2025 are provided here with a detailed step-by-step guide to fill out the application form. Commonly, students might make mistakes while filling out the HSTES 2025 application form and it is thus advised to adhere

Step 1- Counselling Registration Fees: Candidates have to pay the counselling registration fee, to begin, the HSTES application process 2025. Counselling fees have to be paid online using a credit/debit card or internet banking. Candidates also need to provide their basic details like name, mobile number, and email address while making the payment.
After making the payment, candidates will receive details of their fee payment and registration in their mobile number and email address.

Step 2- Filling of HSTES Application Form 2025: Candidates have to fill out the detailed application form by providing information about education, address, community, JEE Main 2025 score (if applying through it), and parents' details. All the details have to be accurate and from the official documents only.

Step 3- Choice Filling: Candidates have to fill in choices of college and course in which they want to get admission. Candidates can fill in as many choices as they want which will, in turn, increase their chances of admission. Choices have to be filled in order of preference with the first choice as the most preferred option. The allotment of seats is done based on merit and choices/ options filled by the candidates.

Step 4- Submission of Application Form: After filling in the choices of colleges and courses, candidates have to lock them within the last date of application form submission after which the form will be considered as submitted. Choices not locked by candidates up to the last time will be automatically locked after the submission date and time. Candidates need not send a copy of the Haryana B.Tech application form 2025 to the office of HSTES.

Candidates who are not allotted a seat in round 1 (through JEE Main) and round 2 (through class 12) and want to participate in round 3 will need to apply as fresh candidates. All such candidates will have to fill out the fresh Haryana B.Tech application form and fill out choices of colleges as per the schedule.
