HSTES Eligibility Criteria 2025 - HSTES will release the Haryana B.Tech 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website hstes.org. Candidates can check the HSTES eligibility criteria on this page. Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions will be able to fill out the HSTES 2025 application form. Students who have passed class 12 with 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects are eligible for Haryana B.Tech admission. The HSTES 2025 eligibility criteria also specify factors such as minimum age, academic qualification, etc. Those who seek B.E/B.Tech admission in HSTES participating institutes must comply with the HSTES eligibility criteria. The authority will conduct the Haryana B.Tech registration online.

HSTES Eligibility Criteria 2025

HSTES will release the Haryana B.Tech 2025 eligibility criteria at hstes.org.in. The HSTES 2025 eligibility criteria will be updated below once released officially. Candidates interested in pursuing engineering may check out the HSTES eligibility criteria as per the previous year's notification below.

  • Candidate should have passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a board of education recognized by the authorities.

  • Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks or equivalent grade, as the case may be in the qualifying examination (Candidates belonging to reserved categories should have scored at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination).

  • They should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination along with any one among Chemistry/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects.

  • Candidates having a diploma in Non-Medical are also eligible for Haryana B.Tech.

HSTES Eligibility Criteria 2025 (Kashmiri Migrants)

Candidates who are or whose parents fall under the category of Kashmiri Migrants may note the following key points for Haryana B.Tech admission:

  • There are 5% supernumerary seats reserved for Kashmiri Migrant applicants interested in pursuing engineering in Haryana.

  • Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of inter-se merit prepared by the authorities considering marks in the qualifying examination.

  • The total score shall be calculated for marks obtained in Maths, Physics, English and any one among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

  • Such candidates applying under the ‘Kashmiri Migrants’ category will have to produce an original certificate of migration duly signed by the competent authority.

HSTES 2025 Eligibility Criteria (Toppers)

Candidates who are good at academics are always preferred and encouraged in higher studies. Candidates who are toppers in the government schools of Haryana have to comply with the following eligibility criteria for B.Tech:

  • They must have secured at least 50% in the class 12 examination in 2025 session.

  • They should have passed the qualifying examination from a Government Senior Secondary School that offers a Science stream.

  • Such a candidate is also required to produce a supporting document of his/ her being a topper of the batch certified by the Principal or Head Master of such government school.

HSTES Eligibility Criteria 2025 (TFW)

Candidates who belong to financially weaker sections can seek admission to B.Tech through a tuition fee waiver. The eligibility criteria for HSTES admission 2025 under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) are as follows:

  • Candidates having their parent’s combined annual income to be less than 8 lakh (considering all the relevant sources) are eligible for B.Tech admission in Haryana.

  • Such candidates are required to submit the income certificate of their parents duly signed by the competent authority at the time of admission.

HSTES 2025 Application Form

The authority will release the HSTES application form in online mode. Candidates have to fill out the HSTES 2025 application form before the due date and provide all the necessary details. All the applications will be considered and that will be followed by the release of a merit list by the authorities. Counselling shall take place based on JEE Main or score in the qualifying examination.
