Candidates whose names will be mentioned on the Haryana B.Tech merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Following are the important steps involved in the Haryana B.Tech 2025 counselling and seat allotment procedure:
Counselling Participation Fees-
Applicants belonging to the general category must pay Rs.1000 as a registration fee. Reserved category candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 700.
The fees can either be paid through credit/ debit card, net banking, or in offline mode through e-challan through any branch of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank.
Payment of the participation fee is mandatory before proceeding with Haryana counselling registration 2025 for B.Tech. Candidates will be allotted a ‘Roll Number’ for use throughout the counselling and admission process.

Choice Filling-
Candidates must log in for further processes, using their user ID and password.
Preference of institutes for allotment of seats must be chosen. Applicants are advised to fill as many choices as available to increase their chances of getting a seat.
Candidates have to lock their choices before the last date. Applicants can make fresh choices filling for consecutive rounds of Haryana B.Tech counselling 2025.
Haryana BTech Seat Allotment-
The authority allots seats online for Haryana B.Tech counselling. Candidates will have to log in using their user ID and password to check their HSTES 2025 seat allotment results.
Candidates allotted a seat will be issued a provisional Haryana B.Tech seat allotment letter as well. It will show details of the institute allotted with the name of the branch and date of reporting to the institute.
Aspirants can upgrade their seats by applying for the next round of HSTES 2025 counselling.
