Andhra University, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts the online AP PGECET for M.Tech admissions into various participating colleges. The allotment of seats will be done through a centralised online counselling on the basis of marks secured in AP PGECET.

Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat (ACPC) conducts Gujarat PGCET for admissions in M.Tech courses across the state. However, candidates with having valid GATE score are given direct admission. Aspirants will have to register within the prescribed time period and then appear for the exam to score well for admissions. Gujarat PGCET is conducted offline.

Candidates should have completed a B.Tech course from an institute recognised by the state of Karnataka with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying degree. However, reserved category candidates are given a relaxation of 5%

JNTUH conducts the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admissions into regular PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts IPU CET for M.Tech admissions. They will be offered admissions on the basis of the separate merit list prepared on the basis of GATE scores.
