M.Tech Entrance Exams other than GATE

AP PGECET
Andhra University, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts the online AP PGECET for M.Tech admissions into various participating colleges. The allotment of seats will be done through a centralised online counselling on the basis of marks secured in AP PGECET.

Gujarat PGCET
Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat (ACPC) conducts Gujarat PGCET for admissions in M.Tech courses across the state. However, candidates with having valid GATE score are given direct admission. Aspirants will have to register within the prescribed time period and then appear for the exam to score well for admissions. Gujarat PGCET is conducted offline.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) to shortlist students for M.Tech admissions. The admissions are also done on the basis of GATE scores.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have completed a B.Tech course from an institute recognised by the state of Karnataka with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying degree. However, reserved category candidates are given a relaxation of 5%
Candidates with valid GATE scores are also qualified.
TS PGECET
JNTUH conducts the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admissions into regular PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy.

BITS HD Admission Test
Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani conducts BITS HD for M.Tech admissions. Students having valid GATE score are exempted from appearing in the BITS HD Admission Test.

BITS HD Eligibility Criteria

It should be noted that admission to M.E. software systems will be done only based on the BITS HD test.
IPU CET M.Tech
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts IPU CET for M.Tech admissions. Candidates applying for admission into M.Tech CSE and ECW (weekend class) are also not required to attempt the entrance exam. They will be offered admissions on the basis of the separate merit list prepared on the basis of GATE scores.
