JKCET 2020 Result
JKCET 2020 Result - Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will not release the JKCET result since the exam has been cancelled. However, the article can be checked for reference purpose. Students would have been able to check their JKCET 2020 result by login to their candidate portal through application number and password. Link for checking the result would be provided here as soon as the JKCET result 2020 will be available. JKCET 2020 result would also be published in two local dailies along with the online release on board website. JKCET result 2020 would have details about marks secured by the candidates. Students who would be declared qualified would have been eligible for JKCET counselling and admission process. How to Check JKCET 2020 Result (Not applicable)
The J&K board of professional entrance examination will not release the result of JKCET 2020 since the exam has been cancelled. The step by step procedure to check the result online is described here
Step 1- Open the JKCET 2020 official website @ jkbopee.gov.in
Step 2- Click on the JKCET 2020 result
Step 3- Login using application number and password
Step 4- JKCET result will be displayed on screen
Step 5- Download and take a print of the result copy
JKCET Result 2020 - Important Points (Not applicable)
The board will first release the JKCET answer key before the announcement of the result. Students having any objections on the answers provided in the answer key can challenge the same within the due period as will be stated along with the release of the answer sheet. Challenges have to be submitted online along with the supporting document of challenge. The board will consider the challenge and the final answer key and result of JKCET 2020 will be published after reviewing the challenges. Students will not be allowed to challenge the result however, they would be allowed to apply for retotalling of marks by contacting the board with the payment of Rs.1000 as fees.
JKCET 2020 Merit List
The JKBOPEE has prepared JKCET merit list in order of inter-se merit of candidates in the entrance test in descending order for the open merit category and similarly for each reserved category separately in 12th standard. For the purposes of allotment of seats to the reserved category candidates in government engineering colleges, inter-se-merit within each reserved category will be taken into consideration.
In the event of the number of candidates belonging to a reserved category being less than the number of seats available for the category, the resultant vacancies shall be filled from amongst the candidates figuring in the open merit category strictly in order of merit.
In case two or more candidates have obtained the same number of marks in entrance test, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined by taking into account
Marks obtained in Mathematics part of the 10+2
Marks obtained in Physics part of the 10+2, if marks obtained in Mathematics part are equal;
Marks obtained in Chemistry part of the 10+2 if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics part are equal
If marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry parts are equal, candidates older in age will be considered higher on merit.
JKCET 2020 Counselling
Candidates who are listed in the merit list are eligible for participation in the counselling and admission process, subject to meeting other eligibility conditions. JKCET 2020 counselling is conducted offline. The board released a separate notification for counselling mentioning the dates and procedure. Students have to register at the JKBOPEE office for the counselling, fill their choices of institutes and courses in order of their preference. The allotment of seats is being done on the basis of merit list.

What about the third round of counseling for jkcet 2020? Is that going to be conducted or not?
The J&K BOPEE is conducting and has released list of candidates eligible for admission after round 2 of JKCET 2020 counselling. The second round counseling was started on November 5. There is no update whether 3rd round counseling will be conducted or not. It will depend on whether seats will be available or not. As of now there is no information, keep checking the website for further announcement.

JKCET stands for Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test, conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) for admission in B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical courses.
