Gujarat Diploma Admission 2020 - Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC) has announced the Gujarat Diploma seat allotment results on October 14. Candidates can accept or cancel the seat till October 19. There resukts for Gujarat Diploma round 1 seat allotment was released on October 1. For seat allotment, candidates were required to do the choice filling and alteration for actual admission of first-year diploma as per the schedule. Gujarat Diploma 2020 final merit list was released on September 18. The provisional merit list was released on September 9. The authorities completed the choice filling process for mock test on September 15. The authorities released the application form of Gujarat diploma admission 2020 in online mode on August 20. Candidates were able to apply online for the admission process of Gujarat diploma 2020 till August 31. It should be noted that no exam will be conducted for Gujarat diploma admission 2020. Candidates will be admitted to various polytechnics in the state on the basis of marks obtained by them in SSC, or performance in TEB or ITI. Gujarat Diploma Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria of Gujarat Diploma Admission 2020 before applying. Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria of Gujarat Admission 2020 as final allotment will not be done if he/she does not meet the prescribed criteria. Qualifying Exam - A candidate should have passed
Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class X) with Mathematics, Science and English or equivalent examination, or
Class 10th + Two years certificate course conducted by NCVT or GCVT or IGTR (provided the candidate has passed Class 10th with Mathematics, Science and English), or
Class 10th + Two years certificate course conducted by the Technical Examination Board (TEB) (provided the candidate has passed Class 10th with Mathematics, Science and English), or
Std. VIII + certificate course of two or more years conducted by NCVT or GCVT (provided the candidate have passed the Std X examination from the Gujarat Board or from Open Schooling with subjects (i) Mathematics, (ii) Science (iii) Gujarati and (iv) English or equivalent examination.)
Qualifying Board - In order to be eligible for Gujarat Diploma Admission, candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum marks as prescribed by AICTE from time to time, from:
Gujarat Board
CBSE or CISCE or the International School Board or NIOS or Sanskrit Pathshala.
The candidate has done schooling under Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme up to class VIII in an institute located in the State of Gujarat.
A candidate who has passed the qualifying exam from CBSE or CISCE or the International School Board or NIOS or Sanskrit Pathshala will be eligible only when the institute the candidate has studied at is located in:
the state of Gujarat.
the Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli and whose parents are origin of Gujarat
Domicile - Candidates must meet any of the following criteria to be eligible for admission-
The parent (s) of the candidate is residing out of Gujarat but is of Gujarati origin and has passed the qualifying exam from the state.
The parent (s) of the candidate is of Gujarati origin but residing out of India and has also passed the qualifying exam from outside India.
The parent (s) of the candidate is of Gujarati origin and serving outside the state for the central or other state government, Armed forces, etc.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from other states are also eligible in certain conditions.
Gujarat Diploma Reservation Criteria 2020
A certain reservation criteria is followed for the SC/ST/EWS and socially backward candidates under Gujarat diploma admission 2020. Seats reserved for these candidates will not be open for general category candidates. Gujarat Diploma Counselling 2020
The counselling of Gujarat diploma admission 2020 is being conducted in online mode and the candidates had to register on the official website in order to participate in the process. For all the registered candidates, the authorities have released a merit list of eligible candidates for Gujarat diploma counselling 2020. The provisional merit list is followed by a final merit list and only candidates who will be included in the final merit list are eligible for final seat allotment.
Documents required to fill application form
- 10th marks card.
- Leaving certificate.
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), should submit their caste certificates issued by the Government.
- Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, which is issued by the authority of the Gujarat Government.
- A physically handicapped candidate should submit the Certificate of Physical Disability which is issued and signed by the Civil Surgeon/Medical Authority.
- Ex-Serviceman certificate should be issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
- In-Serviceman Certificate should be issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit.
- If the candidate is a certificate holder, he/she should submit the mark sheet issued by TEB or ITI or IGTR.
- Income certificate issued by the Government.

Registration - Candidates should visit the official website and click on the registration link. Follow the given steps to complete the registration process.

Candidate will be redirected to page. Select course to apply from:
First-year diploma after SSC

Enter security code displayed on screen.
Click on “New Registration”.
After this, candidates will be redirected to registration form link, where they have to enter following details-
Personal Details - Here, candidates will have to enter their name, date of birth, gender, name of parents, course applied, aadhaar details, etc.
Contact Details - Here, candidates will have to enter their address including city, state, pin code, mobile number and email ID.
Booklet Details- Here, the candidates have to enter the pin serial number and 14-digit PIN number of the booklet purchased from the ICICI bank branch.
Choose Password - After all the details have been entered by the candidate, he/she will have to choose a password and confirm it for creating an account.
After this, candidates will have to select a security question and set its answer and finally submit registration details. After successful registration, One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to candidate’s registered mobile number. Candidate will have to enter the OTP to generate login ID. Once, the login ID is created, follow the given steps-
Reservation Details - Candidates have to enter their category, sub-category, category certificate number, TFW scheme (if applicable), family income details, address of school from which qualifying exam is passed, board.
Qualifying Details- After this, candidates have to enter roll number/seat number of qualifying exam along with the passing month & year.
Enter the security code.
Finally candidates will have to enter percentage of marks, school index number, subject-wise marks and total marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Candidates should next pay the application fee of Rs. 250 through debit card, net banking or demand draft. The candidates can pay the application fee through the Demand Draft. It is necessary that the DD should be accepted by the Commissionarate of Technical Education, Gujarat State.
Document Verification- Once the candidates have completed their registration, they will be required to take a print out of the registration form and submit it at the designated Help Centre of Gujarat diploma admission 2020. Candidate will also have to submit the copies of his/her documents/certificates along with the registration form. Candidates should take all their documents in original for the process of document verification. It should be noted that the print out of registration form and copies of documents must be self-attested by the candidates.
Gujarat Diploma Merit List 2020
The authorities has released the final merit list of Gujarat diploma admission on September 18. Only the candidates who will have their names in the final merit list will be eligible for participating in the choice filling process for the actual allotment rounds. The authorities released the provisional merit list on September 9.
Merit list Preparation for diploma after SSC
The merit list of Gujarat diploma admission 2020 after Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination is prepared by considering the marks of the candidate secured in the following three subjects in class X- (The total marks considered are 300 marks)

English
In case of a tie between the merit of two or more candidates in SSC exam, following rules will be followed:
Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, Candidate with higher marks in Science will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, Candidate with higher total marks in Mathematics & English will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, Candidate with higher total marks in Science & English will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, Candidate with higher marks in qualifying exam will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, Candidate who will be older in age will be given higher rank.
Merit List Preparation for Diploma after ITI & TEB
In case of certificate holders (ITI Or TEB), the merit list of Gujarat diploma admission 2020 will be prepared by considering the total marks obtained by the candidate in theory paper in the final year examination of the Certificate Course, after converting the total marks to 300.
In case of a tie among two or more candidates, following rule will be followed-
Candidate with higher total percentage of marks in practical for TEB Certificate Holders or percentage of marks obtained in Trade Practical in case of ITI Certificate Holders, will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate with higher overall percentage of marks will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate with higher total marks obtained in Mathematics in the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate with higher total marks obtained in Science in the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidate with higher total marks obtained in Mathematics, Science and English in the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be given higher rank.

Gujarat Diploma Admission Choice Filling 2020
Candidates whose names are listed in the final merit list were eligible for Gujarat diploma admission choice filling 2020 for the actual allotment rounds. The actual choice filling process was conducted in two rounds. The process of choice filling for actual seat allotment is held online and the candidates were able to edit their locked choices during mock choice filling and will be able to add new choices. Candidates were advised to select as many choices as possible to increase the chances of seat allotment. Note that candidates were not required to lock the choices manually. All the choices will be locked automatically.
Gujarat Diploma Seat Allotment 2020
The authorities have released the result of seat allotment for both round 1 and round 2. The candidates who are allotted seats in these rounds will have to download and take a print out of their allotment or information letters and challan for the payment of fees. Candidates can submit the tuition fee in cash at the designated ICICI Bank or online.
