JKCET Counselling 2020 - J&K BOPEE will be conducting JKCET 2020 counselling tentatively in June. The authorities will release the notification related to online counselling of JKCET 2020 on its web portal. However, careers360 will also update all the information related to JKCET counselling on this page, as and when released by the authorities. All eligible candidates will have to register for JKCET 2020 counselling through the application form which will be available in online mode only. During the counselling registration candidates will have to fill choices of the colleges and courses in order of their preference. In order to get familiar with the process, the candidates will be allowed to attempt the mock choice filling which will be open tentatively in the last week of May. In the counselling process, candidates will be allotted seats based on the rank secured in JKCET along with the other factors. The authorities will conduct the second round of JKCET 2020 counselling in offline mode. All the candidates who will be eligible for participating in the counselling of JKCET 2020 will have to follow below given steps:
Step 1 – JKCET 2020 counselling registration
To participate in the counselling session, candidates will have to register first in online mode. To register, candidates will have to login using their application number, JKCET 2020 marks, roll number and ranks. While registering, they will have to fill their date of birth, category, email ID and mobile number. A password will be generated, which has to be kept safely for future use.
Step 2 – Fill choices
Once registered, candidates will have to fill their choices of college and courses in order of their preference. Moreover, before filling actual choice, candidates will be able to participate in the mock choice filling to be familiar with the process. This step is important to proceed further in the counselling process.
Step 3 – Lock choices
Candidates can review their choices entered and lock them.Once payment is done, choices will be locked and cannot be edited.
Step 4 – Pay counselling fee
Next, candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 as the counselling fee of JKCET 2020 in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card).
Step 4 – JKCET seat allotment 2020
The seat allotment of JKCET 2020 will be done by JK BOPEE tentatively in the third week of July. The seat allotment will be done in online mode. Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their preferences, rank, category and availability of seat. All of the candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to their respective allotted institute for document verification and completion of admission formalities.

Round 2 of counselling will be held in offline mode, therefore, for Round 2 registration candidates will have to be present physically at the BOPEE office and fill their preferences.
Candidates who join/do not join the course/college will be able to participate in the round 2 of JKCET 2020 counselling.
Who did not participate in Round 1 or failed to make the online payment.
Those candidates who participated in Round I but failed to get allotted due to SNA or CNA.
The authorities will conduct round 1 of JKCET 2020 counselling in online mode.
Second round of counselling will be conducted offline.
The candidates will be called to participate in the counselling session according to their secured rank. The ranks were published online as well as in newspapers. No separate notice will be sent to the candidates.
If a candidate is kept in the waiting list and his/her seat is not confirmed, he/she is entitled to refund of counselling fee.
If any candidate does not show up for the counselling session, then the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in order of merit.

The candidates those fulfills the requirements of eligibility as prescribed by the BOPEE will be considered for admission.
Candidates must be Indian Citizen.
State Eligibility: Candidate should be the permanent resident of J&K.
Minimum Age Criteria: The minimum age limit should be 17 years as on 31st December 2019.
Maximum Age Criteria: There will be no age bar limit to apply.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates should pass 10+2/12th or its equivalent exam from any recognized board/university.
Minimum Marks: Candidates should have obtained the minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as their primary subjects.
Appearing Candidates: Such candidates can also apply for JKCET.
