JKCET Counselling 2021 - Merit List for BE/B.Tech
JKCET Counselling 2021 - The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations will conduct JKCET 2021 counselling in June. To participate in JKCET counselling, candidates will have to report to the counselling venue as counselling is conducted offline. Only those candidates who qualify the entrance examination and receive a valid rank will be able to participate in JKCET counselling 2021. The procedure of JKCET 2021 counselling will consist of reporting at institutes, verification of documents filling of choices and allotment of seats. During the counselling of JKCET 2021, selected choices of college and courses have to be in order of preference. The authorities will conduct two rounds of JKCET 2021 counselling. JKCET Counselling 2021
Candidates who qualify the exam will have to report to the counselling venue in order to participate in JKCET 2021 counselling. After reporting, candidates will have to complete a document verification post which they will be allowed to fill choices of colleges. The procedure will be held in both online and offline mode. If the candidates do not complete the counselling process, then they will not be provided admissions.
Procedure of JKCET 2021 Counselling
Step 1 - Document Verification and Registration - All qualified candidates will have to first report to the counselling venue and verify their documents. The procedure of document verification will be done at the specified centres. All of the required documents have to be produced and a unique ID and password will be given to the candidates after the verification is completed successfully. The following documents have to be produced for verification:
JKCET 2021 application form printout
Proof of application fee payment
Score card and certificates of class 10 and 12
Two recent passport size photographs
Other required documents as mentioned
Step 2 - Choice Filling and Locking: Next, the verified candidates will have to log in using their JKCET registration number to fill their preferred choice of courses and colleges. Before filling out their choices, the candidates will be able to check the course wise, category wise and college wise seat matrix which will be released by the authorities. All of the choices selected by the candidates have to be in the order of preference. The candidates will also be able to add, rearrange or modify their choices before the final date. No changes will be accepted after the choices are locked by the candidates.
Step 3 - Allotment of Seats: After the choice filling process ends, the authority will first release a mock seat allotment result of JKCET 2021. The mock allotment is conducted to let the candidates know their chances of admissions based on their merit and preferred seats. The candidates will be able to change their choices after the mock allotment result is announced.
After mock allotment, the authorities will announce actual seat allotment. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status in online mode by logging in using their login credentials. Two rounds of allotment along with a second extended round and special round will be conducted during JKCET 2021 counselling. The provisional allotment letter has to be downloaded and printed out by the candidates.
Step 4 - Reporting at Allotted Institutes: The selected candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institutes to confirm their admission. While reporting to the institute, the candidates will have to produce their documents along with the allotment letter. The required fee also has to be paid by the candidates.

No PCB candidates are not eligible for JKCET as the eligibility criteria states that Compulsory subjects in your 10+2 level are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as you did not have Maths in your 10+2 level you are not eligible for JKET. The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has started JKCET registration 2021 in online mode. JKCET 2021 will be conducted tentatively in April. JKCET 2021 will be held as a pen and paper based exam for three hours. The authorities will issue the JKCET admit card 2021 to the registered candidates.

J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination is the conducting body for JKCET, and so far it hasn't released the official schedule, but the tentative date for commencement of form is second week of March, in order to appear for the exam, candidates need to be permanent resident of union territory of jammu and kashmir or ladakh, pass 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects securing 50% marks for general category, for reserved categories there is relaxation of 5% such as SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC, the minimum age to be attained is 17 years as on 31st December, 2021 and there is no upper age limit.
