JKCET Counselling 2019 – J&K BOPEE is conducting the second round counselling from July 8 to July 12 in offline mode. Candidates who want to participate in 2nd round counselling need to be present at the Board offices at Srinagar/Jammu as per the schedule. The exam authorities have released the first round of seat allotment result for JKCET B.Tech admission on June 18 in online mode. The seat allotment result is available in the form of pdf. The authorities have allotted seats on the basis of choices filled by the candidates during May 27 till June 12. JKBOPEE issued the notification for the online counselling in its web portal. All candidates have to register for JKCET 2019 counselling through the application form which is available in online mode only. Choice filling according to the preference of the candidates has to be done during counselling registration of JKCET. To be familiar with the process, the candidates were allowed to attempt the mock choice filling which will be open from May 25 & 26. During the counselling of JKCET 2019, allotment of seats will be done according to the rank of the candidate as well as other factors. JKCET 2019 Counselling ProcedureJ&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination has started the process of JKCET 2019 counselling from May 25, 2019. The candidates can follow the given steps to successfully complete the counselling process:
Step 1 – Registration: Firstly, the candidates have to register for the counselling process using their application number, JKCET 2019 marks, roll number and ranks. The date of birth, category, email ID and mobile number also has to be submitted by the candidates for registration. A password will be generated, which has to be kept safely for future use.
Step 2 – Choice Filling: Next, the candidates have to fill their choice of college and course. The choices should be filled according to the order of their preference. Before the actual choice filling, the candidates can participate in the mock choice filling to be familiar with the process. It is essential for all candidates to complete the choice filling process.
Step 3 – Payment of Counselling Fee: Candidates have to pay counselling fee of Rs. 1200 in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card)
Step 4 – Locking of Choices: The choices entered by the candidates will be locked after the fee is paid. After the choices are locked, the candidates will not be able to make any changes.
JKCET 2019 Seat AllotmentJK BOPEE will be announcing the seat allotment of JKCET 2019 tentatively in the third week of July 2019 in online mode. Allotment of seats will be done according to the candidate’s preferences, rank, category and availability of seat. All of the selected candidates will have to report to their respective allotted institute for document verification and completion of admission formalities.

As you have taken admission in secound round of counselling you can apply for mop up round for which you have to cut your name from the respective college and take CLC and other certificates from the college .The documents withdrawn from the previous college has to be present at new alloted college at time of admission.

The preference list set in the first round can be edited in the second round, but only if you want to, so you can keep it same, and fill further or do nothing at all. So it's only if you want to, you can fill the list further. Yes you can change the list even entirely if you want. All the best!
