Candidates who are seeking admission to engineering diploma courses in Telangana through TS Polycet 2020 should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for it. In order to be eligible to appear for TS Polycet, it is mandatory for the candidates to meet all the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Below is the detailed eligibility criteria for TS Polycet.
Nationality & Domicile
Candidate should be an Indian National and should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
Candidates should have passed their SSC Examination which was conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana or Andhra Pradesh or any other recognized Board of Secondary Education, AP/TS with at least 35% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
In case, Candidates have appeared in the examination that is equivalent to SSC by Telangana should have cleared all the subjects with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
There is no age restriction
The application form of TS Polycet 2020 is available online from March 2. Last date to submit TS Polycet application form 2020 is April 17 (extended date).
Candidates will have to fill the online application form of TS Polycet 2020 as per the guidelines prescribed by the authorities. They will have to enter all the mandatory sections in the form that will include but not limited to the candidate’s name, father’s name, contact information, reservation category, aadhaar card number etc..
After filling the application form correctly, candidates will have to pay the application fee which will be Rs. 400 for General Category and Rs. 250 for SC/ST Category.
After making the payment successfully, candidates will have to click on the “Submit” button to complete the TS Polycet application 2020 procedure.

The authorities release the hall ticket of TS Polycet 2020 in both online and offline mode. Candidates who will submit the application form through offline mode will be able to download the TS Polycet 2020 hall ticket at the time of submitting the application form. Once the candidates enter the details and submit the application form, the operator of the helpline centre will enter the details online and after getting it reviewed by the candidate, the application form will be submitted. This will generate the hall ticket which a candidate will be able to print. TS Polycet hall ticket 2020 is one of the most important documents and shall be preserved carefully.
The authorities will release the answer keys of TS Polycet 2020 to help candidates know their probable secured marks. The TS Polycet 2020 answer keys will be available on the official website and candidates will be able to access it easily through a single click. The answer key will include the correct answers for all the questions that will be asked in TS Polycet 2020. In case, candidates find any mistakes or errors in it, they can send the obligations to email@example.com till the last date prescribed by the authorities.
The examination authorities will declare the result of TS Polycet 2020 in online mode. For candidates belonging to General category, the minimum marks that will be required by the candidate in order to qualify TS Polycet 2020 and compete for the seats will be 30% i.e 36 marks out of 120. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, there is no minimum percentage.

For each round of counselling and seat allotment of TS Polycet 2020, the authorities will release the cutoff. The cutoff will help the candidates know their probable rank he or she will require to get preferred seat. The cut off will be declared on the basis of different factors such as the total number of applications received for admission, number of sanctioned seats, and category of the candidate. The deciding factors might change every year.
The authorities will begin the counselling procedure of TS Polycet 2020 after the result is announced. In the process of TS Polycet 2020 counselling & seat allotment, the authorities will allot the seats to candidates on the basis of rank secured and the choice made by them.
