How can I apply for kerala government engineering colleges without keam??

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 27th May, 2020
Hello.
In Kerala government Engineering Colleges, admission in courses specially for BTech program is done on the basis of score obtained in the national level or state level entrance exam plus you need to have at least 50% marks aggregate in your intermediate, the state level exam is KEAM, apart from this you can also seek admission on the basis of JEE mains score, another way is that you need to be the topper of your board if you want to take entry directly.
Best of luck.

Is NATA necessary for KEAM? Is KEAM valuable without NATA?

NILUTPOL Student Expert 26th May, 2020
Hello,
Admission through KEAM B. Arch 2020 will be purely based on the performance of candidates in NATA 2020 and qualifying exam only. Authorities will not conduct any separate entrance exam for KEAM B.Arch. The Authorities will prepare the KEAM B.Arch 2020 rank list by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in theNATA , conducted by the Council of Architecture, and the marks in the qualifying examination. So youust appear for NATA. To get a seat through KEAM.

if a student fails in +2 exam 2019 and passed in 2020 if he eligible for keam 2020

Aditya Kumar Student Expert 22nd May, 2020
Hi

Yes dear ,even if you fail your class 10+2 board examination in 2019 but pass it in 2020 then yes you will be eligible for KEAM 2020 Examination .

But yes as per eligibility criteria to be eligible you need to pass it with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects while Chemistry is the optional subject and if you don't have Chemistry then in place of chemistry, marks in computer Science or biotechnology or Biology can be considered .

Adithi amarendra is it necessary to apply KEAM for NATA candidates If keam is not applied will me get admission in kerala for B. arch shall we get any another chance to apply for KEAM

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 14th May, 2020
Hello,

KEAM B.arch offers admission into various participating institutes. Admission through KEAM B. Arch 2020 is purely based on the performance of candidates in NATA 2020.
Most of the B.arch colleges in Kerala offer admission based on KEAM and it only opens application window once in a year. But there are also many colleges in Kerala that offers admission directly based on your marks in NATA so you don't need to worry much. There are also lot of other good colleges that offer admission based on NATA score directly.

I hope this helps.
