Candidates need to fill in the choices by choosing their preferred colleges and courses in terms of priority. It is important to fill as many options as possible to increase the chances of seat allotment. Below is a step-by-step process to fill in the choices:
After registering for WBJEE counselling and paying the fee, candidates can view all available colleges and courses based on their eligibility and the details provided.
Candidates should start selecting their preferred colleges and courses and arrange them in terms of priority.
Applicants must carefully select their choices; otherwise, no seat will be allotted.
Students have the option to choose TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) seats, which are displayed separately for each college and course. Candidates must select both TFW and Non-TFW seats if they are open to accepting either option; otherwise, they risk missing out on available seats in one of the categories.
After accepting a seat allotment, candidates can opt for upgradation in another counselling round if they wish.
Candidates must lock their choices in order to secure their seat allotment after filling them. It’s important to complete this process within the specified time period. If a candidate forgets to lock their choices, their last saved preferences will be considered final and will be locked automatically. Students are also advised to keep a printout of their locked choices for their records.
