How to Check JEE Mains Result 2026 - The National Testing Agency will announce the JEE Mains 2026 result session 1 on February 12, 2026. The JEE Main result 2026 link will be updated on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. To check the JEE Mains 2026 result, candidates need to log in with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. The JEE Main 2026 result includes the candidate’s details, scores, along other important information. The Session 1 of the JEE Main 2026 will be conducted from January 21 to 30, while the April session will be held from April 2 to 9, 2026. Step 1- Candidates must go to the official NTA JEE Mains 2026 website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2- On the homepage, click on the link "JEE Mains Result" or "View Scorecard."
Step 3- Now, candidates will be redirected to a new JEE Main result login window where they need to enter their credentials.
Step 4- Lastly, click on the “Proceed” to view the NTA scores.
In case of discrepancies, candidates are advised to contact the NTA helpline immediately.
After the declaration of the JEE Main session 1 results 2026, candidates are advised to talk to experts and find out whether they need to appear for session 2 or not. Appearing for the session 2 exam is a good option to improve the JEE Main scores. While calculating the percentile, the authority will consider the score that is the best of the two sessions.
After the JEE Main session 2 2026 results are declared, candidates can find out their AIR ranks. The JEE Main 20266 April session ranks will be awarded by taking both sessions 1 & 2 results into consideration. The top 2,50000 candidates will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. In case candidates are not eligible for the JEE Advanced 2026 exams, they can also apply for the JEE Main counselling. The JoSAA counselling will be conducted for admission into various NITs, IIITs & GFTIs in India.
