    JEE Main April Application Form 2026: NTA has concluded the process of JEE Main 2026 April application form on March 13, for the extended opportunity. The authority had reactivated the JEE Main 2026 registration link at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who register during this period were not be given the correction facility. Hence, they are advised to fill out the form carefully. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria specified for the JEE Main exam to be able to get admission. Applicants who have qualified or are appearing for the Class 12 exam are eligible to apply. Moreover, candidates who will register and pay the application fee can use the JEE Main candidate login to download the admit card.     Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programmes at participating institutes can access the JEE Main application form for April 2026 online. In the JEE Main April application form 2026, candidates need to enter and submit the required details. Candidates can check the steps to complete the JEE Main April 2026 application process.

    Steps to fill out the April JEE Main Application Form 2026

    Step 1: Registration - To fill out the application form for the JEE Main April session 2026, candidates have to first register by entering the required details. Candidates can register in two ways:

    • Fresh Registration - To complete the JEE Main registration 2026 process, candidates have to enter the following details:
    • Candidate’s name
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
    • Security Pin
    • State of Eligibility
    • Identification Type (Aadhaar, Student ID, Passport, Ration Card, Bank Account)

    After entering all the required fields, candidates have to next create a password by selecting a security question and its answer. While creating a password, candidates should keep the following details in mind:

    • Password should have 8 to 13 characters
    • Password should have at least one upper case alphabet, one lower case alphabet, and one numeric value.
    • It should have at least one special character - !@#$%^&*_.

    Note down the password for future reference.

    • Through JEE Main 2026 Credentials - Candidates who fill out the application form using JEE Main 2026 credentials have to log in using the application number and password.

    Step 2: Filling the application form - Candidates who are new registrants have to fill out the JEE Main application form 2026 using the correct details. On the other hand, candidates who have already registered for session 1 need not register again for session 2. They will be required to select the exam city straightaway. Candidates have to enter the following details:

    • Exam Details - Candidates have to enter the exam they will be appearing for and also the preferred language of the exam.
    • Personal Details - This section includes candidates’ names, parents’ names, categories, PwD categories, etc.
    • Qualifying Examination Details- Candidates have to enter their Class 12th marks and details.
    • Guardian’s Details - This section includes details related to the guardian’s occupation, qualification, and annual income.
    • Exam Centres - This section has to be filled in by all the candidates. In this section, candidates have to choose their preferred exam centres.

    Step 3: Uploading relevant details - In the next step, candidates have to upload the relevant documents in the format prescribed by the authorities. Candidates should make sure that the uploaded documents are clear.

    Step 4: Payment of JEE Main application fee- Candidates are also required to pay the JEE Main 2026 application fee. Candidates will be able to make payments only through online mode.

    How to apply for the EWS category in the JEE Main Application Form 2026?

    Candidates seeking admission under the EWS category must register for the JEE Main first session 2026. While filling out the JEE Main April 2026 application form, candidates had to opt for the EWS category from the given list. It must be noted that candidates are not required to upload their EWS certificate. However, it will be required at the time of admission and during the JEE Advanced application process.

    How to check the payment status of the JEE Main 2026 Application Form?

    Candidates can check the payment status of IIT JEE Main 2026. Candidates will be able to print the confirmation page only if the payment status reflects OK. If the payment status is not confirmed, candidates have to make the payment again.

    The WBJEE 2026 exam will not be held in Maharashtra, as per the details mentioned in the brochure. The exam centres will be available in West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. If you are from any other state, then your options will be limited to WB.
