JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main schedule 2025 for session 2. The JEE Main April 2025 exam will be held on April 2, 3, 4 , 7, 8 and 9. The BArch exam will be held on April 9, 2025. Moreover, the BTech paper of April 8 and B.Arch/BPlan paper will be conducted in a single shift. The authority will release the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip for Session 2 in the second week of March 2025. The link to check the JEE Mains Session 2 city slip will be updated on the website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates have to provide the JEE login credentials to check the city allotment of JEE Mains 2025.

Moreover, the authority declared the JEE Main exam result 2025 on February 23 for session 1 Paper 2. To access the JEE Mains Paper 2 results 2025, candidates need their application number and password. The authority published the JEE Mains 2025 final answer key for paper 2 on February 22, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 result for Paper 1 was declared on February 11, 2025. There are 14 JEE Main 2025 toppers for session 1. Earlier, the authority uploaded the JEE Main answer key 2025 online. This year, the authority dropped 12 questions. The JEE Mains exam was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 & 30, 2025 for session 1. JEE Mains Session 1 was held in 598 exam centres in 284 cities across the country and 15 foreign countries.
National Testing Agency has announced the JEE Main 2025 exam date for session 1 and session 2 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 form correction process was held from February 27 to 28, 2025. The authority activated the JEE Mains form 2025 correction window link on the official website. Registered applicants could edit the details mentioned in the JEE Main correction window 2025. During the JEE Main form correction, candidates can modify their details, educational details, exam city preferences and more. The JEE form correction is a one-time use chargeable facility. Candidates had to log in to the candidate portal to make the changes to the session 2 JEE Main application form. The JEE Main 2025 form correction date for session 1 was November 26 to 27 (11:50 PM).
National Testing Agency will release the session 2 NTA JEE Mains 2025 exam city slip in the second week of March 2025. The JEE Mains city intimation link for session 2 will be available online at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025. To download the JEE Mains exam city slip intimation, candidates will need to enter their application number, date of birth, and course. The exam city for JEE exam 2025 will also include details about the IIT JEE exam date. Please note that the JEE city intimation slip is different from the admit card.
The admit card for JEE Main Session 2 2025 will be released online. The authority will activate the JEE Mains 2025 hall ticket download link on the official website, jeemian.nta.nic.in. Candidates need their application number and date of birth to download the IIT JEE 2025 admit card. Students must download and print their admit card, which they need to bring to the exam centre on the day of the test. Registered candidates can download the JEE Main 2025 hall ticket online once it is released. The hall ticket for January 28, 29 and 30 exam was released on January 23, 2025. The admit card for January 22, 23 and 24 exams was released on January 18, 2025
The authority has published the JEE Mains 2025 syllabus on the NTA official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. There are no major changes in the JEE Mains 2025 syllabus, however, a few minor changes are made in the JEE Physics syllabus. Topics such as scalars & vectors, vectors, addition & subtraction, scalar & vector products, unit vectors, and resolution of vectors are removed.
The authority has revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern section B for papers 1 & 2. According to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern change notification, Section A will contain 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject, while Section B will contain only 5 Numerical Value Type questions per subject, with no option questions. In section B, candidates will have the option to attempt all five questions. The exam duration for JEE Mains 2025 is 3 hours with a total mark of 300.

Within 3 days of the exam conclusion, the JEE Mains 2025 question paper along with the response sheet and answer key will be released. NTA releases the JEE Main response sheet online. The response sheet will comprise the candidate's responses to the questions asked. Candidates who appear for the JEE Main exam can download the JEE Main response sheet 2025 from the official website during a specified period. To download the response sheet of JEE Main 2025, candidates will require their application number and date of birth. The NTA has announced the JEE Main January 2025 paper 2 result for session 1 on February 23, 2025. Separate scorecards are released for both sessions. For candidates appearing in both sessions, the best score of the two will be considered for the final result and All India Rank.

To get admission to premium engineering colleges in India, Candidates need to take part in the JEE Main counselling, commonly referred to as JoSAA. The full form of JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The Joint Entrance Examination is an exam conducted by the NTA mainly for students looking to get admission into various technical undergraduate programs in Engineering and Architecture can apply for the same. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced. Only 2.5 lakh candidates will be called for the JEE Advanced exam to get admission to IITs.
JEE Main is an entry-level exam which consists of two papers. Students can opt for either or both and the exam papers are MCQ. JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for admissions into UG engineering at NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and many other leading colleges, while Paper 2 is for students venturing into B. Arch and B.Planning.

To get into NITs for B.Arch through JEE Main Paper 2 , your percentile should be around 97+ for top NITs like NIT Trichy and NIT Calicut. For other NITs, a percentile of 94-96 might be enough.
However, for reserved categories, the cutoff is lower.

Unfortunately, the registration for both sessions of JEE Main 2025 has closed. The registration for Session 2 ended on February 25, 2025. Since today is March 17, 2025, and the registration deadlines have passed , you won't be able to register for the JEE Main 2025 exams.
