Topics such as scalars & vectors, vectors, addition & subtraction, scalar & vector products, unit vectors, and resolution of vectors are removed.

The authority has revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern section B for papers 1 & 2. According to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern change notification, Section A will contain 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject, while Section B will contain only 5 Numerical Value Type questions per subject, with no option questions. In section B, candidates will have the option to attempt all five questions. The exam duration for JEE Mains 2025 is 3 hours with a total mark of 300.

JEE Mains 2025 Exam Day Guidelines & Dress Code

• Do not wear apparel that comes with frustrations of different pockets for going through security checks.
• Students should avoid wearing excellent jewellery or watches in their exams.

What is JEE Mains?

The full form of JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The Joint Entrance Examination is an exam conducted by the NTA mainly for students looking to get admission into various technical undergraduate programs in Engineering and Architecture can apply for the same. JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified class 12 board exams in the year 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 are eligible to apply for the JEE Mains exam 2025. However, the candidate may be required to meet the JEE eligibility criteria of the institute to which they are taking admission.

• Should be in the final year of the exam of 10+2. Candidate in intermediate or two-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University.

• Passed 10+2 conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
