The full form of JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The Joint Entrance Examination is an exam conducted by the NTA mainly for students looking to get admission into various technical undergraduate programs in Engineering and Architecture can apply for the same. The authority has published the JEE Mains 2025 syllabus on the NTA official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. There are no major changes in the JEE Mains 2025 syllabus, however, a few minor changes are made in the JEE Physics syllabus. Topics such as scalars & vectors, vectors, addition & subtraction, scalar & vector products, unit vectors, and resolution of vectors are removed.
The authority has revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern section B for papers 1 & 2. According to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern change notification, Section A will contain 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject, while Section B will contain only 5 Numerical Value Type questions per subject, with no option questions. In section B, candidates will have the option to attempt all five questions. The exam duration for JEE Mains 2025 is 3 hours with a total mark of 300.
