AP PGECET 2020 - Andhra University, Visakhapatnam will conduct the AP PGECET 2020 exam on May 2, 3 and 4, 2020 for admission in post graduate engineering courses in institutes of Andhra Pradesh. Students who will be applying for admission in PG engineering courses through AP PGECET 2020 must ensure their eligibility before applying. AP PGECET eligibility criteria 2020 are the conditions that every candidates have to fulfill in order to be considered for admission. Students are provided below the full eligibility criteria.
Candidate must be an Indian citizen
Candidates must have passed or appearing in final year of their qualifying exam
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for candidates of reserved category) in aggregate in their qualifying exam
Candidates having valid GATE score will be eligible for direct admission without having to appear for AP PGECET 2020
Students must note that applicants with valid GATE score are given preference for admission in respect to AP PGECET qualified candidates.
The admission authority will release application form of AP PGECET 2020 in March in online mode. Students interested in admission in PG engineering courses through AP PGECET have to fill the application form for appearing in the entrance exam. The detailed application procedure for AP PGECET 2020 is as follows
Step 1 - Registration: Students have to register by providing their basic details like name, date of birth, email address and mobile phone number. Students will also be required to create a password at this stage. This password will be used for all future login in application and admission process of AP PGECET 2020. After entering all the required details and selecting a password, click on “Register” button for completing the registration process.Students will receive an email containing their registration number after successful registration.
Step 2 - Filling Application Form: Students will be required to fill the AP PGECET application form 2020 after the completion of registration process. Candidates have to login using their AP PGECET application number received in email and password created by them.
Candidates will have to enter details of their educational qualification, parents name, address for communication, choice of exam city for appearing in the entrance exam, domicile status and others. Students are advised to be careful while entering the information as wrong or incorrect information would lead to cancellation of admission.
Step 3 - Uploading Scanned Images: Candidates will have to upload scanned images of their passport size coloured photograph and signature in the application form. The size of images should be exactly within the specification provided by the authority.
Step 4 - Payment of Application Fees: Students have to pay the application fees of AP PGECET 2020 in online mode using Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. Students of unreserved category have to pay Rs.1000 while reserved category students have to pay Rs.500 as application fees.
Step 5 - Submission of Application Form: Candidates must carefully verify all the details submitted by them in AP PGECET application form 2020. After verifying the details, candidates can proceed for final submission of application form. Candidates need not send the print of application form to AP SCHE but it is advised they keep it safe till the complete admission process.
Students who would be appearing in AP PGECET 2020 exam must know the exam pattern of test. The exam pattern contains information about the types of questions in exam, marking scheme, mode of exam and much more.

The official exam conducting authority will release mock test of AP PGECET 2020 to help students prepare for the exam. The mock tests will be released in online mode in the official portal of APSCHE for all the subjects in which the AP PGECET 2020 exam will be conducted and can be accessed free of cost. Students are advised to practise AP PGECET 2020 mock test which will help in understanding the exam pattern, difficulty level of exam, topics that are covered, practising the time management and much more.
The official authority will release hall ticket of AP PGECET 2020 in April last week online mode. Students who will complete the application form within specified dates and the form is found to be in correct order, the authority will issue AP PGECET hall ticket. Students must note that they will not be allowed to appear in exam without AP PGECET admit card. The hall ticket will contain information about exam venue, timing of exam, candidate details and paper for which appearing along with the exam day instruction.
Students can check below the complete list of all the exam centres of AP PGECET 2020. Students have to enter their preference of exam city at the time of filling out the application form.
The APSCHE will release answer key of AP PGECET 2020 in May in online mode. Students will be able to download the AP PGECET 2020 answer key in pdf format from the official portal of APSCHE. The answer key will help students calculate their score before the announcement of result. Students who might have any objection against the answers in the answer key will also be allowed to challenge it by providing document/proof supporting their claim. The official authority will review the challenge and will release the final answer key along with the announcement of result.
The exam conducting authority will release result of AP PGECET 2020 in May in online mode. Students will be able to check their AP PGECET result 2020 using their application number. The result will mention marks secured by candidates along with the rank. Students who will be declared qualified in AP PGECET 2020 will be eligible for admission in all the participating institutes of AP PGECET 2020 subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.
The official authority will releases rank card of AP PGECET 2020 after the announcement of result. AP PGECET rank card 2020 will be used for counselling and admission purpose and is a necessary document for submission in allotted college. Rank card will have information about the marks secured by candidates in AP PGECET 2020 along with the rank of candidates.
The counselling of AP PGECET 2020 will be conducted in June-July in online mode. Students who will be declared qualified will have to participate in counselling for admission in the desired course. The authority will release a separate notification mentioning the details of counselling procedure and schedule for various events of counselling. Allotment of seats for AP PGECET 2020 will be done through a centralised counselling on the basis of marks secured by candidates in entrance exam.
