JKPET 2024- JKBOTE will conclude the application process for JKPET today, June 15. Applicants must make sure to register at jksbotelive.com, before the end of the day. The authority started the JKPET 2024 registration on May 1. The exam dates for JKPET 2024 will be released online very soon. Candidates who wish to register for JKPET exam will need their JKBOTE login credentials to fill up the application form. Jammu and Kashmir Board of technical Education (JKBOTE) will conduct the JKPET 2024 exam in offline mode. The last date for JKPET 2024 exam registration is June 15. JKPET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should go through the JKBOTE information brochure for detailed JKPET eligibility criteria 2024. It is important to satisfy the eligibility conditions for JKPET 2024 before applying for the exam, as there is a risk of cancellation of candidature otherwise. JKPET Reservation Policy 2024
The authority has established the JKPET 2024 reservation policy for reserved category candidates in terms of government norms. JKPET 2024 reservation policy applies to only government-run colleges. However, the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme applies to both Government and private colleges. All the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of JKPET 2024 can apply for the exam in online mode. However, candidates had the option to visit the help desk designated by the authorities to take any assistance in filling the JKPET 2024 application form.
Steps to fill JKPET Application Form 2024
Candidates can refer to the following step-by-step process to fill the application form of JKPET 2024.
Step 1: Registration & Filling of JKPET Application Form - In the first step, candidates have to register by entering basic details like name, gender, mobile number and email ID. After successful JKPET 2024 registration, an application number was generated and was displayed on the screen. A confirmation of the same will also be sent to the email ID of the candidate. After this, candidates had to fill all the other required details of the JKPET 2024 application form like address, academic details, etc.
Step 2: Payment of Fee - Candidates have to pay the application fee after filling out the application form of JKPET 2024 completely. Applicants will be able to pay the JKPET application fee only through the Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking /UPI facility. JKPET 2024 Application Fee is Rs. 100.
Step 3: Uploading of Documents - After the payment of fee, candidates had to upload the scanned copies of required documents like recent photograph, signature/thumb impression, domicile document, mark sheet of qualifying examination and any other certificate as per the specifications provided by the authority.

Step 4: Submission & Printing of JKPET Application Form - Candidates must check their details carefully and finally submit their JKPET application form 2024. Once the candidate submits the form, a preview of the application form will be generated. Students are advised to take a printout of the form and keep it safely for future reference.
How to check JKPET Application Form Status?
Candidates will be able to check the status of the JKPET application form by visiting the official website. In case, the JKPET 2024 application form is not confirmed due to the required information then the candidates will have to report at the BOPEE office Srinagar or Jammu by or before the deadline. If the candidates fail to report to the office, the JKPET 2024 application form will be rejected.

JKPET Admit Card 2024
The authorities will release the admit card of JKPET 2024 for all the candidates who successfully submit their applications. JKPET admit card 2024 will have the details of the exam date, time and centres allotted to the candidate. Candidates must download and keep their JKPET 2024 admit card safely as no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.

JKPET Answer Key 2024
The authorities will release the answer key of JKPET 2024 after the exam is concluded. Candidates will be able to find out their probable marks by comparing the key with the answers marked by them in the exam. If a candidate feels that an answer given in JKPET answer key 2024 is not correct, then they can challenge that question. Candidates will have to submit any such objections in the JKBOTE office at Srinagar or Jammu within three days after the conduction of the JKPET 2024 exam. After this, the authorities will release the final JKPET answer key by considering the objections, if valid. No objections can be made to the final JKPET 2024 answer key released by the authorities.
JKPET Result 2024
The authorities will release the result of JKPET 2024 in online mode. JKPET result 2024 will be released in the form of a merit list. JKPET 2024 result will include the overall and subject-wise marks secured by the candidate.

JKPET 2024 Merit List
The authority will publish the merit list of JKPET 2024 on the official website. JKPET merit list 2024 will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying exam. On the basis of this JKPET merit list, candidates will be invited for the counselling process. Students with higher rank in the JKPET 2024 merit list will be given first preference during the allotment of seats. The authorities will also release the category-wise merit of JKPET 2024. It should be noted that if in any case, the JKPET 2024 exam is not conducted then the merit list will be prepared based on marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam.

Inter-se-merit of JKPET 2024
In case two or more candidates secure the same scores in JKPET 2024, then the following rules will be used to determine the inter-se-merit of such candidates (tie-breaking rule).
Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry will be allotted higher rank.
If a tie still persists, the candidate who is older in age will be given a higher rank.
JKPET Cutoff 2024
In order to have high chances of seat allotment, candidates must qualify the JKPET cut off released by various polytechnics. JKPET 2024 cutoff will be polytechnic and branch specific and it will vary from one round of counselling to another. In most of cases, if a candidate misses the JKPET cutoff 2024 of an institute in earlier rounds of counselling, he/she will have a chance to qualify it in the further rounds of counselling.
JKPET 2024 Counselling
The authorities will conduct the counselling of JKPET 2024 in online mode. All the eligible candidates will have to participate in JKPET counselling 2024 by registering for the process. The counselling of JKPET 2024 will be held on different dates depending on the rank obtained by the candidates. Candidates will have to report to the JKPET counselling centres for document verification and choice locking. For this also, candidates had to pay a counselling fee.
Note - The authorities of JKPET 2024 will also provide a facility of mock counselling for the candidates so that they can familirise themselves with the counselling procedure.
Final Round of JKPET 2024 Counselling (Mop Up Round)
After the completion of all the rounds of JKPET 2024 counselling in physical or online mode, the authorities will conduct a mop-up round to fill the vacant seats, if any. This round of JKPET counselling will not consider the preferences of the candidates. All the candidates who will qualify JKPET 2024 but are not allotted seats in previous rounds of counselling will be eligible for this round.
