    JEE Main Marks Calculator- Calculation Method

    To find the most accurate marks for the Session 2 exam, candidates must follow the calculation method via the JEE Main marks calculator.

    • First, download the session 2 final JEE Main answer key from the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in

    • Now open your recorded JEE Main response sheet online.

    • Candidates can now calculate the JEE Mains marks from the answer key.

    • Calculate manually by marking each correct answer +4 and deducting the -1 mark for each wrong response.

    • Lastly, add all the positive marks and subtract the negative ones to calculate the marks online.

    JEE Main 2026 Normalisation Formula

    Candidates can use the JEE Main normalisation process to calculate their percentile as well. Below is the NTA's formula to calculate the JEE Main percentile:

    • Percentile Score of a Candidate = 100 x (Number of candidates who secured a raw score (or actual score) equal to or less than the candidate)/(Total number of candidates who appeared in that session)

    JEE Main Percentile Scores for each subject and the total percentile score

    Total Percentile (T1P):

    (100 x No. of candidates from the session with raw score equal to or less than T1 score) / Total No. of candidates appeared in the session

    Mathematics Percentile (M1P)

    (100 x No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score equal to or less than the M1 score in Mathematics)

    JEE Main 2026 Marking Scheme

    Candidates must calculate via the JEE Main 2026 marking scheme while calculating the JEE Main Marks from the final Answer Key. There is a total of 75 questions of 300 marks in JEE Main 2026. Each question will have +4 marks, and -1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect response.
