GATE Login 2019 – IIT Madras has closed the correction window for request in the change of exam city in the application form of GATE 2019 which started from November 13 to 17. Candidates had to use their GATE 2019 login to make the required changes. Also, in order to modify/ edit or change any exam city, candidates had to pay the requisite amount. However, the correction facility had been closed for the candidates to rectify Gender/Category/PwD Status /Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities on November 7. GATE 2019 login got activated from August 31 after the application process began. The candidate login of GATE 2019 is through GATE Online Application Process System (GOAPS) which has to be used by all applicants to register, check their application status, download their admit card, check their result and download their scorecard. Procedure to log in to GATE
The procedure to use the GATE 2019 login has been specified below. It may be notified that candidates were required to first register to create the login before being able to use the same. Candidates without a GATE login ID were not able to access the application form, download their admit card or check their result.
How to create GATE login 2019?
Only new applicants were able to create a new login in GATE by registering through GOAPS. Candidates could register for GATE 2019 after clicking on the “Register here” button in GOAPS. They had to enter the following details:
Once the details were filled in, candidates had to submit the same. They received an email to the registered email ID as entered as well as an SMS to the registered mobile number. The email mentioned the GOAPS Enrollment ID which has to be used for logging in an in all future communication with the authorities. Additionally, candidates also had to verify the mobile number by entering the OTP sent to the mobile number registered.
How to login to GATE 2019?
Enter the Enrollment ID / Email Address sent via email
Enter the Registration ID
Lastly, candidates had to enter the Date Of Birth and the captcha code after calculating the same.
How to use GATE candidate login to fill the application form?
Candidates had to log in as mentioned above.
They had to agree to the declaration and then enter the GATE paper and three exam centres, personal details, communication details, qualifying degree details.
Next candidates had to upload the specified documents and their photograph as well as a signature in the specification given
Application fee need to be paid
Once this was done successfully, candidates could check their application and download the same for future reference.
Forgot Enrollment ID or Registration Number?
GATE Login 2019 through GOAPs can be used to retrieve the details if a candidate has forgotten them or misplaced them.
The “Forgot Enrollment ID or Registration Number” button has to be clicked.
Candidates who have forgotten Enrollment ID and Registration ID but know the registered email ID must click on 'Request for an OTP' to get One Time Password.
Once it is clicked, the email ID has to be entered where the OTP will be sent.
The OTP also must be entered once it is received.
The details of the Enrollment ID or Registration Number will be displayed
How to check Application status using GATE candidate login?
Candidates must log-in by entering the GATE 2019 enrollment number or email address and enter the registration number and date of birth. Any defects will be mentioned or the status will be displayed. Candidates must check the same and download the application form if they have not done so.
GATE Login to download Admit Card
The admit card of GATE 2019 is available now and can be downloaded from GOAPS website. The steps to download the admit card are as given below.
Login through GOAPS
Enter GATE 2019 enrollment number or email address
Next enter registration number and date of birth
Click on “Submit” button
Download and print the same in colour.
Save a soft copy for future reference
GATE Login to check Candidate’s Response
Candidates can log in and check their responses by February 21 when the answer keys will also be announced. Candidates need to log in through GOAPs by entering the enrollment number or email address, registration number and date of birth. They can download their responses and compare with the original answer key.
How to challenge the GATE answer key 2019?
The option to challenge the answer key of GATE 2019 will be available from February 21 to 23. Candidates can use the GATE 2019 candidate login to challenge. It may be noted that a fee has to be paid online per question challenged. The final answer keys will be published after consideration of the challenges filed by students.
GATE Login to check the Result
To check the GATE 2019 result which will be announced on March 16, candidates need to login through GOAPS. The steps to do so are as follows
Using the GATE login (GOAPS), click on the 'GATE Result’ tab given there.
Input the GATE enrolment number /Email ID, registration number and date of birth.
Click on the result tab for the display of the result details.
GATE result cannot be printed as the scorecard is the actual document to print. The scorecard of GATE will only be available to candidates who have qualified in GATE.
GATE Login to download Score Card
Only candidates who have qualified can download their score card of GATE 2019 from March 20 to May 30. Thereafter till December 31, 2019, candidates can download their scorecard on online payment of a fee of Rs 500. To download the GATE 2019 scorecard the following steps have to be taken

Enter the GATE login credentials - enrolment number /Email ID, registration number and date of birth
Use the download button to avail the scorecard and save a copy for future reference
