Cochin University has released the CUSAT CAT 2025 eligibility criteria in the official notification. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions can apply for the CUSAT exam 2025. August 4, July 30 & 31
To apply for B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
SEBC candidates from Kerala need 55% aggregate and 50% in Mathematics.
Other candidates need 60% aggregate and in Mathematics.
Diploma or Vocational candidates are not eligible.
The maximum age limit is 25 years.
Both Indian and foreign nationals must provide the required documents.
A domicile certificate is mandatory for state quota applicants.

CUSAT CAT Exam Pattern 2025
The authority has launched the CUSAT 2025 exam pattern. The CUSAT CAT 2025 test will be of 3 hrs of Computer-Based Test (CBT) nature. This will have 3 parts namely, Physics (75 questions), Chemistry (60 questions) and Mathematics (90 questions). The breakdown of the exam timing will be as following: The Physics paper will be of 60 minutes, chemistry paper will be of 45 minutes, and maths paper will be of 75 minutes.
The questions will be objective (Multiple Choice Questions), with a total of 225 questions. To pass, candidates must score a minimum of 10 marks in each section separately. The marking scheme awards 3 marks for every correct answer and deducts 1 mark for each wrong answer.
