JLEE Assam Joint Lateral Entry Examination (session 2025)
Candidates who wish to appear for the Assam Joint Lateral entry exam had to complete the registration of Assam JLEE 2025 before the last date, i.e, June 2, 2025. Pay online Assam JLEE application fee - After filling the application form, candidates need to pay the application fees using the mode available. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500 in online mode only. Candidates can pay the fee through net banking/credit card/debit card.
Note: Instead of sending a copy of the JLEE application form 2025 or any other document to the authorities, candidates must take a printout of the filled-in application form.

It is mandatory for the candidates that they must have passed a recognized diploma with a minimum 3 years duration from any polytechnic institution affiliated to State Council of Technical Education (SCTE), Assam.
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in their diploma exam.
Only permanent residents of Assam will be allowed to participate in the Assam JLEE exam.
Candidates appearing in the final exams of their diploma course can also appear for the exam, but have to submit their original mark sheet along with the passing certificate of the final diploma as stipulated.

Candidates can apply for the OMR sheet within a specific period of time. Candidates will have to pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 300. The fee can be paid to the office through a bank draft in favor of “Assam Science and Technology University” payable at SBI, AEC Branch, Jalukbari, Guwahati - 781013, Assam. Candidates must mention their name, roll number, and address in the application for the Assam JLEE OMR sheet. The application should be addressed to Member Secretary, JLEE 2025.
Assam JLEE cutoff is the minimum marks that will allow a number of candidates to get admission and a confirmed seat. DTE will announce these marks as it is responsible for holding the Assam JLEE 2025 counselling.
The DTE will also announce a waitlist. The cutoff of JLEE 2025 will be separate for each branch and will be announced for each round of counselling. Candidates whose marks and roll numbers are announced will have to attend the JLEE counselling 2025 on the specified date. Candidates can go through the previous years' cutoff to garner a good idea of the marks required for admissions for each branch.

Assam Joint Lateral Entry Examination is conducted by Assam Science And Technology University ASTU, Guwahati for lateral admission in Engineering courses.
Candidates qualifying the Examination will be provided admission to 2nd-year B.E/B.Tech courses in the participating Institutions of Assam.
The process of counselling and seat allotment of Assam JLEE 2021 will have two rounds which will be conducted in offline mode and candidates will have to reach the counselling venue on the scheduled date and time. After each round of Assam JLEE counselling, merit list will be released on the basis of different factors and the seats in the institutes will be allotted to candidates .
JLEE counselling 2021 process is held in two rounds in offline mode only so there won't be any third round for counseling.
