CUSAT CAT Application Form 2019 - Cochin University of Science and Technology has closed CUSAT CAT 2019 application process on February 28. Admit card for CUSAT CAT 2019 has also been released on March 25. The authorities had released the application form of CUSAT CAT 2019 on January 30 and the last date to apply was February 21. Candidates were also allowed to submit their application form till February 28 with an additional fee. To fill CUSAT CAT application form 2019 candidates had to follow steps like registration, filling personal, academic, contact information, payment of form fees etc. In case candidates fail to submit CUSAT CAT 2019 application form on the given due date, they had to pay extra amount as the late fee. How to Fill CUSAT CAT Application Form 2019

The application form of CUSAT CAT 2019 was available in online mode till February 28 (with late fee). In order to fill application form candidates had to submit personal, academic, contact details, pay the fee and more. Things to Keep Ready Before Filling CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Form

  • Scanned coloured image of photograph and signature as per the dimensions and format mentioned by the authorities.

  • Educational certificates (required for entering academic details and others)

  • Bank, debit/credit card details for fee payment.


Steps to Fill CUSAT CAT Application Form

Step-1 Create Log-in ID & Register:

To apply for CUSAT CAT 2019, candidates first had to create their log-in ID to register and fill the application form. In order to create their log-in Id, candidates had to follow the given steps:

  • Visit the link to register for CUSAT CAT 2019 and click on “New Candidate Registration” tab.

  • Enter candidate’s name, valid email-id and mobile number.

  • An activation mail will be sent to the registered email ID.


The candidates had to log in using their User ID and password.

Step 2- Fill Application Form of CUSAT CAT

After registration is done, log-in to your account again.

Click on “online Registration Indian Citizens /NRI /Children of Indian Gulf Workers (CGW)” tab. Enter details all the requisite details like:

  • Name of the Father

  • Mother's Name

  • Mother and Father Occupation

  • Annual Income of Parents

  • Date of Birth of Candidates

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Address

  • State

  • Choose category for claim for communal reservation from the drop down menu (If applicable)

  • Enter “YES” or “NO” as per your eligibility for OEC benefits

  • Select Annual Family Income (range)

  • Click on the “NEXT” button to move to the next stage

  • Select Special Reservation Category/Categories (if applicable).

  • Select Eligibility Qualification for the course/courses you wish to apply for.

Once done click on the “NEXT” button to proceed further.

Step 3- Uploading of Scanned Images

Once all the requisite details were entered, upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the required format and dimension.

Guidelines for Uploading Scanned Images

  • Candidates should have had scanned/digital image of his/her photograph/signature.

  • Only JPG format were accepted

  • Photograph should have been passport size. Candidate’s full face and shoulder portion should have been visible.

  • Candidates face should have been straight and in the centre.

  • Photograph should have been coloured with light background.

  • Candidate’s name and date of photo taken should be printed at the bottom portion of photo with black letter.

Step 4 - Selection of Course

The candidates had to follow the given steps to select their preferred course.

  • Select the course you wish to apply for.
  • Select “Others” if you wish to apply for more than one course.
  • Select subsidiary subjects of your degree.

Click on "Submit". A short preview was seen which had to be checked. If any changes were required, then the candidates had to.

Step 5- Payment of Application Fees

Candidates had to pay the application fee of CUSAT CAT 2019 in the online mode only. To pay the fee candidates could use credit/debit card or net banking.

Step 6 - Centre Selection

Next, the candidates had to select their preferred exam centre from the list of available centres. A final preview was shown after the centre selection is done.

Stage 7 - Submit & Take Print Out of CUSAT CAT 2019 Application Form

  • In case all the details were correct, click on “Confirm” button to submit the application form.

  • Note the registration number displayed on the computer screen.

  • Take at least 2 printouts of the submitted application form for future reference.

Note: The application form of CUSAT CAT 2019 was submitted online only. No hard copy was accepted.

what should i do for getting admission for MBA in CUSAT?

Hi aspirant,
The MBA degree is CUSAT is 2 year programme and has an intake of 120. However 50% of the seats are reserved
for candidates having 3 years of supervisory/executive experience after taking the degree.
If you want to apply you will need:
1) Indian citizen and have studied in the country for 5+ years.
2) 50% aggregate in bachelors of any subject.
3) The admission will be based on the latest valid score in KMAT of Kerala or CAT of IIMs or CMAT of AICTE.

Hello aspirant I am here for helping you.
firstly you should know the eligibility criteria for post graduation in oceanography from CU SAT:

B.Sc.degree with Physics / Mathematics as the main subject with 55% marks. Those with Mathematics as the main subject should have studied Physics as one of the subsidiaries and vice-versa.
there is an entrance exam also by which you can have admission in CU sat for post graduation in oceanography.
This test will comprises 150 question, asked for checking your proficiency in your subjects.
if you are going for MSc in oceanography then the subject will be mathematic or physics.
You can appear in any one of the subject test.

I am bsc botany honours student. Am i eligible to apply for Marine biology?

Hello srishtita,

Yes, of course you can apply for marine bioalogy after all being a botany honours  student.You can apply for it but minimum eligibility is you need to get is 55% marks in botany and zoology.The all india institute of medical science,new delhi pffers this course.

my cusat cat level is 2310.can i get into cusat for integrated msc in physics,chemistry or maths

Hello Sandra.


Well I am sorry but with this rank you will not be able to get into CUSAT. The cutoffs for your preferred branches don't usually cross 1000 even for the reserved categories so a rank of 2310 doesn't come into consideration.

Maybe you should give it a shot in the next year or go for other alternatives this year.
